Street driven Cobra with added weight to battle against gutted race only Imports , seems fair
A lot of the imports have weights under their front bumpers, and those imports can't be gutted they have full interiors.
Mustang has twice the displacement those imports have and twice as many cylinders 2:28
So what's each got to weigh?
Spens, according their rule book given the same 76mm or smaller turbo which the mustang had here there is a 1100 diff in minimum weight... 2150 vs 3250... cylinders and displacement is irrelevant in a race car running double the boost imo.. and the weight they have over front bumper is exactly where they want it to help put the power down...
You are saying that Terminator weighs 3250 with weight added?
That's a 3800 pound beast from the factory...with an added cage and Turbo.

sean carleton Yeah I've always known it's just a beast of a motor BUT I'm pushing 6 at the wheels now and I just want to be cautious as to how far can I really go with it before I start to stress it. Plus I only have 34K on the car so I'm not in a rush to damage it.
They came built from the factory. Alot tougher than a Coyote and I have seen Coyotes push 900-1200 stock. Not 1200 for long though...then again, built and turbo Coyotes make 2500hp now lol...

I'm probably missing something here and I'm asking because I don't know, but why are there weights in the back of the car? Is that done to fit a certain weight class?
Speed & Torque 101 I would say for traction, but i'm not 100% sure.

Swap out 11,000 engine for a 500$ engine.. I actually know of a guy who did just this to his torch red terminator an went slower ets after the swap 😆..
