  • After thinking about all of the things like air intake, radiator, etc... It was a simply wire. I hope.....

If the unit started smoking while you were trying to pull that log, that would be your belt slipping. Even if you were in Low (which is imperative for towing to get maximum tow capability) you can still run the risk of smoking your belt. I would replace the belt ASAP or at a minimum inspect it.

It was smoke from the belt you need to put it in low and you probably screwed your belt

2, 84 is "road speed erratic". It was your belt burning.

if you had it in high it will burn the belt cause it do not have enough tork in high. also when you start it you have to wait for the EFI to cut out

Yea I definitely understand what you mean. It just happened to be that the wire was not fully connected. It's been fine since and I've been going full throttle!

I think you might have burned up the clutch belt. So take off the clutch cover and see if the belt is wore off. If you are going to do more pulling upgrade the clutch system. Hopefully that helps!

Take the belt cover off check the belt if that's ok it's probably the clutch

if you think your bike is overheating because youre using the 4x4 sell it. put it in low next time, maybe the smoke from your belt burning was hurting your eyes LOL

Overheated engines should not smell like burning rubber.

+GoProAhaulic the engine overheated and was smoking, but I checked under the plastic and there was a plug that wasn't plugged in all the way. Fixing that fixed the issue

Lol. I completely forgot about that, it has become forgotten habit. 20 years ago I found out about that with my dads atv. I don't know if it's just a polaris thing or not. For people that don't know, your key chain can get caught between gas tank/cap and steering column when turning and it will shut the machine off while driving. Rare but does happen.

the drain plug on the polaris' on the CVT cover are pieces of shit. they come out after your first ride practically and then water just goes straight in. replace it and never worry about it again.
