They are trafficked victims illegal in the country. They are scared & you never know what the captors told them the police would do to them. My roommate at varsity was trafficked to a raisin farm & held in a shed. He captures told her the police were part of the operation & they often shoot & kill anyone who escapes. That makes it less likely for victims go trust the police.
Luckily she managed to escape & a truck driver found her barefoot running next to the road & helped her & drove her home.

They were probably stripped naked so that they do not run away even when their captors not on the premises. Possibly also to humiliate them and assert power over them .By the time they are allocated to spaza shops they are very fearful of their bosses and easily follow every strict order given.

You can report such houses till you are blue in the face and SAPS the by-laws and any of the policing systems for such problem properties does not get addressed until there is a dire problem at the property and then everyone wants to know how did it happen because none of our policing systems SAPS or municipal by-laws keep data bases on owners of problem properties with vehicles connected so there is no track and trace. Not even a search warrant data base is kept or a by- law database linked to property owners where there is unlawful activity taking place. The only time there is data and that is pathetically collated is when there is a charge with a case number and even then they a useless in capturing the data correctly so you can trace collective data on a person, vehicle seen connected, re arrests etc because the capturing is not sound due to incompetence in the work place.

Crazy. A country is a number one asset of every citizen, taking care of it is in fact taking care of citizenry, just like a garden that receives love, water and care, it bears a bounty, the opposite is what we see in South Africa. My argument is Black South Africans which I am one of them have never had the same level of love and patriotism that the National Party was able to inculcate in their Volk, that's why when they say Vaderland rightly or incorrectly they mean it and feel it. Our civil servants and us as citizens don't have the deep love needed to protect and grow this beautiful country not now at least. The trauma of the oppression we went through "washed" the country from our psyche. Only once we deal with this collective trauma will we do right by our country, a country that so many gave their lives for.
