  • The final part of my install of a US Offroad Winch Bumper and a Smittybuilt 12,000 lbs Winch. Sorry about the end of the video lost battery power...but I filled it in photos and narration.

Love the blackout look. I was debating leaving the TOYOTA silver but yours decided it for me. Very cool and I am going with the US Bumper too. I have a Quicksand (tan) 2013 that I am building for my son and I am going black on all trim. Thanks for the video’s.

Great videos, thank you. I was happy to find these as I had recently purchased the US Offroad bumper and coincidentally the same winch and factor 55 winch lock. Your videos are really going to help me with my install.

I guess you can drill holes right above the winch and have the bottom of your plate resting on the fair lead

Great video! Great points and a very helpful video that we will reference from our website.
Couple of notes. While he uses the Factor55 security bolts, and that is always a great thing to do, with the bumper cover on it makes it almost impossible to steal your winch without a LOT of work.
All winches are different but anything like the Smittybilt used in this video works well. We use a standard 10"x4.5" bolt pattern so any winch will bolt up. Sliding the box over to the passenger side is sometimes required, as it was in this video but really makes no difference. Some integrated solenoid winch designs will work, some won't, so it's always good to use a winch with the removable box. Looks great!
