Everyone continues to be taller than Odysseus. The fact that he hasn't figured out that he can just run under the legs of his enemies to escape is astounding.
Honestly I established their height difference way before I did everyone else's so now I'm kinda just using Odysseus as unit of measurement
I do love that odysseus is always shorter, and i love even more that the first time he is described in the iliad he is specifically shorter than everyone beside him, especially ajax jesus christ hes tall

The soft touches, Odysseus sitting and waiting for her, the relief when they see each other, BOTH OF THEM CRYING WHEN THEY KNOW THE OTHER IS REALLY THERE AND THE SWAYING TOGETHER!!! I CAN’T! THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH 🥹❤️😭
I was half expecting this to all be Penelope's dream and that this will end with her waking up alone, but this was super cute! Happiness to the both of them-- lord knows they deserve it after all this time.
They look so beautifully intimate and vulnerable that I feel like I shouldn't be watching them rn
They are both tired but still have the energy to embrace and be together again in happiness. One of the strongest relationships in the Greek Mythos ❤

First Penelope's initial reaction of seeing her long lost husband. Then, the awkward and shy way Odysseus got up. THE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE. The slow comforting rocking at the end. ( and it looks like Odysseus is holding his hands on his wifes behind )

MY HEART! I love how he sits there a moment, calm like he's in shock, and they have their moment where they hug and just be with eachother before finally kissing 🥺

PERFECT!!!! him, sheepishly looking at her, her, rushing down the steps to greet the only one she will ever love. when their hands touch, their bodies remember, when they hug, their minds are finally at rest, when their foreheads touch, they take each other in and with the kiss they accept one another once more. when their foreheads touch again, they know, without any words, that their love never weakend.

Oh my gosh the way he stands when he sees her, it almsot makes him look YOUNG to me, especially since it says "Where is your youth?". With him holding his hands together like that, patiently waiting for her to come to him. and with how he raises his shoulders almost shy. like he's a young man asking her to be his wife again sakdfjh FUCK OW. There's the whole "You look younger when you're no longer stressed" and it's almost like all the years are washed away in the same way askldjf
