I love watching those guys work. Not a missed move in the whole video. I also saw how high that load was. Was it all pine? I've seen in Montana where the loads are stacked that high because the wood is light and they like to limit the truck out on weight. Thanks for the show and please keep putting them up.
Thats an interesting place for sure.. Ive hauled fuel in there for those guys and hauled super b's of lumber out. Curious if Sammy still operates the mill.
I’ve been to this site before and I’ve heard it’s an unreal time capsule in the back. Also the workers all run old pickup trucks which is a sight in itself.
I run a set up similar.. I really like how easy his trailer goes up on there. I have to pick mine up and set it in a cradle for the axle. A lot more precision required than to drag it up ramps. The ol boy is really slow, but who cares at that stage you should take it slow. At 38 I want to grab full grapples of wood and throw it off as quick as I can to get to the next load.
Not a wasted move. Intimate with his machine and operation 👍🏻
Thanks Todd for all the great entertainment
I sure hope that by the time I'm 80 I'll be in half as good a shape as him! Thanks for another great video!
Well Done, I get to work with Ross, good guy to work with
Always enjoyed talking with Ross when I'd see him at the Cache Creek truck show. one of the kings of cool stuff for sure.
Of course he has a grab stick! Common sense is always a good show! Thanks for sharing.
It will take one hell of a man to fill your boots when you check out!!
Your videos are amazing!!!!
That's a nice load of logs. The operator is probably as tough as the truck is 🤘
Hey skadill really enjoyed this video please make some with equipment in the weeds, PLEASE!!!
That was a great life lesson
The old guy knows how to get it done
Thanks for another great video 👍

Hi John, it was mostly hemlock. Nearly all loads in B.C. go up that high, a lot of wood on every load here.
@@skadill That would make for some very heavy hauling wouldn't it?

It may not be grammatically correct, but one of my rules for making work easier is “Hydraulics is your friend “.
why unload the truck with a loader? We let one side of the bunks (verticals) fall and the whole load fell, ready to make another load
There's hardly any trip bunks left in the Interior.
Triple drive axles?
Yes, tri drive, I drive a tri drive western star often,
Now the envirofreaks are trying to stop salvage logging!
