I'm starting to believe the theory that Chloe will make an appearance but they don't want to spoil it yet. If you haven't seen it, in one of the teasers they show Max looking at an old polaroid of Chloe, which looks a bit out of place. But people noticed when you zoom in to it when the camera is zoomed out of the picture later in the clip, it looks like a completely different picture, potentially of Max resting on Chloe's shoulder. Something sus is for sure going on, they've been very quiet about Chloe...
I agree 💯 they're hiding something for sure and keeping it as a surprise I reckon. And I never noticed the polaroid thing. Do you think they might be teasing at Max focusing on the photo again to go back in time like she did in the first game to save William? That's what it sounds like to me!! It's time to get excited and impatiently wait for the game to come out 😂

Its assumed that all the footage they showed so far is the Bay ending. They arent giving away anything where you saved Chloe cause they know thats what everyone really wants to see. Yeah cause at 9:20 Chloes name isn't in Max's contact. That could only mean she's dead, cause if Chloe is alive and not in Max's contact list I can only imagine the rebellion from fans.
I'm very positive about this. The game looks amazing, Hannah Telle is back, Chloe has not been forgotten like people feared, the story seems dark like the first game and so on. I also feel like Chloe will show up by the end of it. So maby after this game, we might get a proper Max and Chloe sequel. It is very obvious that they want to respect all players when it comes to this whole bae vs bay thing.

Game looks great and it’s cool to have max back, in my opinion they changed her physical appearance a bit to much even though she is older, cool to see your videos again last time I watched was when you did “December is strange” hopefully you can do a replay of before the storm as well
I have a feeling that at the very end of the game Chloe is going to show up in her truck and the two will stare at each other and Chloe will say something like "get in loser" and the next game after this one will be Max and Chloe

I have a theory that this game is a set up for max and Chloe where they can justify both endings. That Max can travel to both timelines what if Max travels to a timeline where Chloe and the town are okay. But this time where in the comics Rachel is alive as well, I think it would be a good story to tell, if they do a third game I would like for Max to rewind time again and still travel threw timeline, this time with a little something seeing the future.

I think they were both VERY young at the end of the first game and the amount of baggage both carry around from the ending of that game is insane. I know many people think of that what happened brought them closer together and it certainly did in the short term, but I can also see how living together is a very painful reminder and can strain a relationship over time.
Caledon is a city in Canada and if I googled it correctly it is the safest city in the country where there are no crimes at all as Wikipedia says) My theory is this - of course the Max forces again cause 2 moons and everything else but now the catalyst is Safi and the discovery portals to a parallel world. We saw something similar to a meteorite at this moment of her death heading towards the Earth. I don’t know why I remembered the scene from part 2 where David talked to Chloe on the phone about New York. Which is literally from Caledon, very close to the border with Canada. Apparently here in the end we will decide whether to sacrifice the life of a city with millions of people or return everything as it was and let Safi die
Sequels are always difficult to live up to the original but they did a great job with the pre-qual when they were kids. I have hope and this, although corny in some spots, definitely has my interest and I will play for sure.

I just wonder what happened to Max' rewind power now that she has universe shifting. Is it still there? In the trailer she collects pictures of Safi and that makes me think she might jump to those points again. Did the new power replace the old one or?
I still have hopes. And still I have little concerns but I think Deck Nine include Chloe in some point but she won't be the main subject for this game. They mentioned that we respect both endings and none of them are canon ending. This is positive response for we all Life Is Strange fans. If you saved chloe I feel like there is a chance that she will appear. But they want people to be surprised either during the game or they plan on teasing her in another trailer. Which I mean it’s a good idea. You don’t want to show everything to soon. You want people to be intrigued and surprised.

Does Deck9 really think that fans who allowed a whole town to be destroyed over their BAE would pick them in the same situation? I’m so mad at them and Square right now. I personally hated Chloe and the idea of a romantic relationship between them specifically and even I got concerned watching the interview, but ultimately, I believe that Chloe's impact will be felt in both versions and they are choosing not to show it to generate interest and/or avoid spoilers. Might not be the right choice, because I'm already seeing a lot of fans being wary of the new game, and they might not buy the game unless they know Chloe will be a big part of it. If they make Chloe just an afterthought in this game, regardless of which ending the player chooses, I think that is incredibly disrespectful to the fans, and to Max's character. She loved Chloe, so much of her life revolved around her, to the point where if we don't really acknowledge Chloe being "oh the blue-haired girl whose photo you keep", then what is the point of having Max as the protagonist? It could be anyone, especially since the powers aren't even the same as before.
I sacrificed the Bay because Chloe wasn't just a cypher in a trolley problem. If I were Max I would not sacrifice the woman I loved. Not ashamed of it. Chloe is a part of who Max is. They are making a mistake not to recognize that.
I see that, but at the end of the day, would anyone want to let millions perish, and everyone you ever cared about, including your family just to save a life of another when you’ve been doing that the entire game? I'm excited to see my Asteroid Theory from early 2019 perhaps coming to fruition in some form. Regardless, hope the story will be good & gameplay will be fun! At least, I can see such things being possible given what we've seen so far. But I won't know for sure til October.
I agree with a few point here. D9 100% has issues making villains seem meaningful like Jefferson. Daemon felt like a really scary guy but the fact Chloe was not the one to stop him just weakened his Prescence. My first impressions of this trailer had me feeling gutted. Not because there was no Chloe but it was not what I..ME..envisioned LIS with Max. I quickly had to step back and stop projecting my own interpretation on what LIS should be or what is cannon. I am sure D9 has known for years the fans want Chloe back. Look at all the communities, forums, social medias, fan creations. People love Chloe. We the fans have created this...ecosystem of her to fulfil our fantasy of what we want the story to be or how to end. Many fans just want to relive it over and over. There being no LIS with Max for 10 years def did not help this result. I think D9...I HOPE D9 has learned a lot from past games and reactions from fans on how to move forward here. I don't expect NOR WOULD I WANT D9 to just drop a trailer with Chloe and Max living happily ever after ooggling over each other. There would be no game, just a fan service interactive demo. I think they are really trying to build a story here by weaving Chloe and others in with sensible, believe arcs. Something fans can look back on and appreciate.
Thing is no one's expecting of them to drop a game with just Max and Chloe happily ever after... I was not expecting such game, nor any game like that, at all. To me comic books closed Max and Chloe arc wonderfully. But to drop a game that'd disregard what I chose for my Max would be a little much. That is why I still hope they won't do that. Chloe doesn't have to be absent and I don't want the decision for them to be together or apart to be taken away from me. I guess that is my point here.

They are trying to please everyone by Not making a canonized ending. I actually would have preferred this was the case from the beginning because now we have 2 groups and people accusing the studio favoring one over the other. This is what I meant by weaving Chloe and other characters into the story. It seems like the vast majority people just assumed because Chloe was mentioned nowhere but the Live stream a few days ago, seem to think D9 is disrespecting the fans. I like the idea of not knowing anything about Chloe or any character they are bringing back and having to work for info throughout the game. This is one of the strong elements in the LIS games.
