Enjoyed your analysis of this blade. However, for me it seems to be an awkward handle design with more thought about being a bottle opener than having a good hold on it. Sheath system is stellar. Thanks for the review! 👍🗡️👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. I totally agree in the sense that the knife can definitely be a bit awkward in a sense for many. But the trainer really does help with that! Thanks again & have a good one 🙏🏼
I love that type of knife and that one looks great! I have the SOCP with the trainer. I wouldn't mind having the half breed though 😁👍
I’ve always wanted to try a SOCP but honestly the sheath just didn’t seem that great with no retention. And with this one not really much of a need to now 😅 And of course I recommend having both knives if you can 🤗🔪🔪🤣👊🏼
@@MrLeonidas0001 the sheath could definitely be better but it does have retention. It's just to hard to get a good grip fast. 👍

I think less stabbing and a bit more cutting would have demonstrated the blades sharpness a bit better but otherwise really liked the vid.
I actually watched it for more info before making my half breed purchase.
I got the CCK-03 though

Edit: just got mine and, straight outta the box, did the ol “joiners test” and these blades can shave you… so yeah.. they’re razor sharp 👌😍
I do like that 03 model & will have to try it out someday!
The Tanto 02 version would be a much better cutter since this model 01 just doesn’t have much of cutting edge at all.

I do like the look and size of this blade but it does seem a touch bulky in the shealth. Personally I carry a benchmade SOCP edc, in conjunction with a folding utility knife. I havent priced this blade yet but I'd assume its alot more pricey then the SOCP, and not sure I'd be willing to spend the money on it. Good video though bud.
Hey thanks for watching & commenting! Honestly its really not that bad. I have been belt carrying it for 2 weeks now I hardly notice it - very slim. And as for the price I think its around the $150 range (dont quote me though). With the trainer its a nice system. Several attachment options too. Much more versatile in the long run than the SOCP IMHO. I will be reviewing the Tanto version this year too. Thanks again!
@@MrLeonidas0001 oh wow, I assumed bein a rare breed it would blame closer to 250 or 300 lol I've seen some of their blades and they get up there. And I carry the socp in my front pocket with a pocket clip is why I was sayin that one looked bulky. I dont use the socp for anything but defense so i always carry a second blade for general purpose.
@@tylertapp131 Oh yeah I agree this one isn't; for pocket carry but for a belt (maybe even IWB) it works. Stay tuned for the Tanto review in the future :)
