    1. Country of Origin: All products are not made in Taiwan, they actually comprise both Australia and Taiwan make. Please see below as stated on our website:
    Where is it made?
Halfbreed Blades Australia is a production knife and tool company, comprising a fusion of Australia and Taiwan make. Our fixed blade and folding blade knives and hand tools are designed, developed, hand-finished, quality control checked and packed in Australia. CNC waterjet cutting, machining and grinding, together with our proprietary heat treatment and coating are completed at our production facilities in Taiwan. Machining and hand-finishing in Australia includes but is not limited to sharpening, polishing, fitting and assembly. Materials used in the manufacture of our products are sourced from Austria, Japan and the United States, this includes the steels utilized in the construction of our tools, G10 and Micarta® applied to handles and Kydex® molded in the fabrication of our sheaths. Halfbreed Blades is proudly 100% Australian owned and operated.
    2. We use 222 on most of our fittings to secure the scales but use 243 for larger knives (including the LSK and LBK models) design to be used for chopping and batoning, this ensures they don’t come lose under hard use in the field etc.
    3. D2: The steel we use is premium Austrian made Bohler K110. The specs are on the website and on the card included with the tool.

Just ordered the serrated clip point! I was on the fence till I saw you actually liked the knife. Not many videos out on these particular blades. Seeing your video WITH it's take down, sealed the deal for me! Thanks!!! Can't wait till it's in my hands...

Picked mine up today- first impressions are good. It’s pretty heavy and weighty . The grip could be bigger but it’s not horrible. The sheath is nice but I’d prefer something with a bit more retention, maybe an over strap. Other than that it like it. The attachments it comes with are a great idea.

After 20+ years in the Infantry I can tell you I have needed a flat hard surface on the butt end of the pommel to hammer with far more than that slotted tab. My take -is not designed by an actual infantryman. Looks nice, seems like a positive grip pattern! A coating is handy for light discipline. A decent sheath. I would call it a 3/5. Minus 1 for the butt and minus 1 for chippy D2 in a knife that needs toughness as much as hardness.

Thanks for your constructive and insightful comments. Maybe the people at Halfbreed knives will read it and give it some thought. Feedback should be welcomed.

@@LuvThemKnives @Jask Nemo The design of the butt cap was actually a specific request from spec ops community as they wanted a 'crusher pommel'. The K110 steel we use and proprietary heat treat results in exceptional edge retention. Thx Gents!

Youre looking for a Mille Cuori then. Made by TRC. Very difficult to get unfortunately.
I was also in the infantry never really needed a knife for anything other than cutting cord, MREs, and dicking around with.

Wonder what it costs shipped wrapped in newspaper without the stocking stuffers. A stacked leather handle would be less tiring to grip than that G10 profile.

Depends. I remember when Medford and Brous knives were in D2 and they were asking $400-$700 I guess it’s just whatever they think the market will support.

I really thought half-breed blades had some good looking stuff, and was considering maybe getting one. Then I saw an ad they had in Recoil with some axes, and they were laying on top of chest rig that had a Thin Blue Line Australia patch on it.
LOL, is that for all the brave men and women enforcing the curfews down there and taking everyone's guns?
