PLEASE READ THESE VIOLENT DELIGHTS OMG 😭 I’ve read everything Chloe gong has published so far, and you COULD read FLF without reading these violent delights and our violent ends, but you’d be incredibly lost. Also, our violent ends is INCREDIBLE. The tension, the angst, the romance. chefs kiss

I yet to read the first 2, maybe explains why FLF was a bit hard to start but I enjoyed it.
I thought ‘tell me lies’ was super good! I felt like it really captured how hard it can be to walk away from someone and something. Definitely kept me on the edge of my seat while reading

I clicked on the video and thought “will this be the month she finally picks Tell Me Lies” and it was! This is a weird book to say you liked but I read it in one day on a train and that really just set the vibe for me. It’s not your typical “romance” I feel like it’s similar to coho but a little bit deeper or older

One Day is worth reading.. it's a bittersweet when Harry Met Sally that made me feel a bit better about growing up... but DO NOT read reviews because they will spoil it for you

If you read Foul Lady Fortune, it does fully spoil the end of the These Violent Delights duology (big major spoilers). I recommend reading TVD first if you’re interested in the story, but if you aren’t at all interested in it and only in FLF, I don’t think there’ll be any confusion as to what’s going on, but the side characters in TVD become the main and side characters in FLF, so when they pop up in the book, it talks about how they’re relevant which ultimately leads back to TVD and can spoil some things about their roles in TVD. They’re great audiobooks, too!
i feel like if you go into something wilder knowing it's literally just good times you'll enjoy it. it's not meant to be deep or meaningful or realistic, it's literally just meant to be a fun read.
