Even if the really did intentionally make the hair match the actresses ethnicity, they still could've done something REALLY good with it to make it fit more. Like making her braids REALLY long, not shoulder length, and be more behind her. Her hair is supposed to have a flame-trail like quality when she flies.
I honestly think it would look better if Starfire's hair was longer and straightened (if they're using that type of wig). That way they can manipulate it more easily. Plus, it would frame the actress' face better. That look Starfire's got goin' on just looks awful |:

But, given what little I've seen of Animated Starfire's civilian clothing [when she's in Korina Anderson mode(MY nickname for the character BTW. It's probably something like this: Aren't you jumping to conclusions and making assumptions out of set photos with a large amount of unknown context?
Have you seen Hawk and Dove too? Those two look amazing as well as Robin. It doesn't make any logical sense for them to spend their efforts in making accurate costumes for characters that aren't even series regulars and not spend it on THE series regulars.
If the trailer looks like the shit we see in the set photos then I will be welcome to bash this show but *they're set photos* , not the trailer or the official release photos. Robin was official as opposed to these.
I started bashing Inhumans when I saw the trailer but I didn't bash them beforehand. Your truly first impressions should be the trailer as we get a sense of what the plot is, protagonists, side characters, antagonists, color grading, how the shots are like, the CGI/VFX, the script, and of course their actual costumes in action.

And its also the fact that the series is set years before Bruce becomes Batman. So of course they would have to change some things.

I believe Anna Diop and Ryan Potter are decently casted, they both seems to have the height and facial structure. My problem is Berlanti Productions or DC Entertainment terrible promotion for the show, neither Anna and Ryan are painted as the characters, and Ryan hasn't any fur on him. I don't understand how you came to your conclusion that her race is the issue I had, did you skip the fact that I also had the same issue with Beast Boy not being in full costume too? I've actually seen better cosplay than these! Why do these studios go through so much to get a show like this greenlit but then get afraid to match them to their comic counterparts? I’d say this is much worse. SO MUCH WORSE! The fan base for Inhumans is way smaller than Teen Titans. I know that they could of done way better with the Titans. The hair is really wrong here, it’s literally just another Medusa situation. If you can’t make a character who’s hair is basically alive look good or even decent or even long, then swap out that character with another one!

Look at Starfire in the comics, look at her in the animations, look at her in the original show , look at her in the cosplay, then look at her in this live show. Completely strayed from the source and didn’t even give her the green lasers and instead they turned her into the human torch.

Music I would hardly called their shows and Movies excellent. A lot of the DC movies have been disappointing for me. I do agree with you on krypton and aquaman is in good hands with James Wan directing the movie. Always enjoy his films.

Gotta keep in mind that these photos where not intentionally released and are, therefore, unfinished and out of context. Fingers crossed that the actual end result is a lot cleaner than what these random photos show.
I can't help but wonder when they intend to set this show. Because they all look very 90s to me. Which could be pretty fun honestly, if they really bank on the nostalgia aspect.
