The Blue Bayou was a quiet bayou located in Louisiana. A bayou is a body of water typically found in a flat, low-lying area, and can either be an extremely slow-moving stream or river, or a marshy lake or wetland. I knew that, but it took Google to explain it better than I could.

"You're No Good" is my favorite of hers. The only one sexier than Linda R in the 70s was Stevie Nicks. And that instrument you are asking about is a pedal steel guitar. It's a mainstay in classic country music. No other instrument can make you cry like a pedal steel guitar. Fewer and fewer people know how to play them anymore, they are difficult to master. And yes, you play it sitting down. Check out vintage Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Waylon Jennings and the like. It becomes easy to recognize once you know what it is.

She has a voice that is so natural & she sings with ease. There's so many songs to pick from. When will I be loved, You're No good, It's So Easy, Love is Rose, Tracks of my Tears, That'll Be the Day. The list goes on and on and on. Sadly, she has Parkinson's Disease & has lost her ability to sing. That beautiful voice is now silenced & lost forever.

Hi Mr. Video! The 70s angelic voice! Linda has had an incredible life, born in Arizona, headed to LA to be a star. Instead she became a legend. Now well into her 70s, she has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and can no longer sing. That is our tragedy. She hit the LA music scene and stole the show. Joined with fellow legends in Bob Seeger and Jackson Brown. As mentioned in previous comments, her back up group became the legendary band ... The Eagles. When they refer to Linda in interviews, it’s with love and gratitude for her mentoring. She is multi lingual and can sing from country or rock... to opera. Incredible range. She has an honorary doctorate from Berklee and has recorded and performed with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris. Girl power, beautifully complimenting each other. Recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Linda is truly a shining star of my generation. Good reaction as usual! Thank you❤️

The instrument you were wondering about is called a Steel Guitar, it was used in the past in country music. She has a beautiful voice, or she did anyway. I'm kinda on the elderly sided and just discovered music on You Tube for some time now, then I found the reaction Elvis videos first. You are hilarious.

We used to play city league baseball. If a batter struck to a fastball we called it a Linda Ronstadt pitch - "blew by you."

Here is some FYI for ya Mr Video. 1.) that is a steel guitar used in country and 2.) This song was written and made popular in the UK by Roy Orbison. It is said that Linda came to know this song from Glen Frey and the Eagles on a late night brainstorming session

She was faking you out, man. You aren't prepared for Linda when she really opens up those vocals. This woman can sing freaking opera. And as someone who comes from Louisiana, yes, the bayou is the water.
