Now, Jinwoo is trying to make Song Yi understand what the real hunter world is like and how dangerous it is for an E-rank, so she will regret her choice, return to school, and ensure his sister remains safer, even if she has an awakening.
If you think about it, Igris is the perfect role model for Jinwoo to get stronger. They basically have the same style of combat. Igris is a great swordsman, has a pair of knives as an alternative, and we know he a real boxer in a fair fight. They even share a telekinesis skill, since Jinwoo got it in a runestone from him too.
Igris is stronger than Jinwoo at this moment. Both are around A, close to S rank, but not quite yet there. Jinwoo level is 52 after the fight with bears and tbh if Hwang Dongsu fought them he would absolutely obliterate them. He is not a national level hunter but he is incredibly powerful. The difference between S and A class is enormous so there is that. The leader of White Tiger guild said that this gate is definitely above C tier, so it is at least B tier. He also mentioned that to beat B tier you need at least 3 A tier hunters and to beat tier A you would need S tier hunter or 10 A tier ones. Definitely Jinwoo abilities would allow him to match some S tier hunters, sure, but as it currently stands Dongsu would one shot him with Igris.
