Haha 😆 I definitely have taser and pepper spray on me at all times. I’m thinking about getting a machete as well lol I don’t wanna have to use it on nobody, but I’ll be going to some wild places lol thank you so much for watching. 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Your energy is so infectious I love watching but please be careful the story of the rude guy made me mad and scared but I know God is watching over you hopefully when I come back home to Florida i will go crabbing 🦀🦀💜💜
Thank you so much! Yeah, people are just rude so instead of being confrontational I just moved. Definitely make plans to go crabbing it’s so fun 🤩! Absolutely, he watches over me while I’m out there creating adventures!
@hopeflows10 yes mama we did. Enough that we won't have to go again for a while. My sweetie likes them more than I do. So she's stocked up. We want to try some salt water fishing at the same time we are crabbing, so we'll most likely be around the Tampa St. Pete area next time we go. I think Cock Roch bay may be out next adventure. Hope to see you out there again..😊😊
@@MrCoop that’s so fantastic to hear! I’ll be trying fishing soon as well. Have a blast out there and stay safe- I’m sure we’ll bump into each other again. 🙃
Awesome video. Somedays I have trouble finding big crab. It's weird how one day you get big crabs and the next time out in the same spot you get small crabs. Nice triple.
Yes! Yesterday was baby crab day. I just refused to keep the smaller ones. Especially, when there are 6-8in crabs 🦀 out there. I’ll try out those spots again another day. I appreciate you for watching Sir - Crab 🦀 On
That was odd watching you drive a car that had the driver's seat on the right. Where did you get a car like that? Never seen anyone park their car in the water, either, lol. To each their own though!!! Glad you some crab though. Was a tough day!
I appreciate you watching- I was driving on the left-hand side like everybody else. Maybe the camera uploaded differently. Yeah it was a rough crabbing day, but it was overall a good day. 🙃
Hey nice videos!!! Also new subscriber here. I live here in the riverview/brandon area. I normally go out to the skyway bridge during low tides and catch a bunch at night as they float out into the gulf. They literally float on top of the water and all I do is scoop them up.
Hello new subscriber! 👋🏾 welcome to the channel! I have seen a few Yt’s of blue crabs floating on top of the water. However, they have the craziest rigged up dip nets I ever saw lol if they were a lot easier, I would definitely try it! Thanks for watching! 🙃
In Oregon, there are some UA-camrs who get together and go Dungeness crabbing. They do a catch, cook, and clean right there on the beach. Maybe you can get to know some other UA-camrs near you who like to crab. Y'all could do a catch, cook, and clean right where you catch the crabs. I'm sure at least one of them have the outside burner with a crabbing pot to cook it in. That would make a really good video as well as put you in touch with other subscribers that may subscribe to you as well.
That is a great idea! When it starts cooling off, that would be so nice to be in somebody’s backyard and invite them over or I go over to their house and we have a huge crab boil/seafood boil. Thanks for the awesome idea! Definitely will be writing that in my notes. FYI, I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest.! I just came back from Oregon in May and I’ll be going back to Washington next year in May. One year I want to go up there and just go crabbing if I have to book a charter. 🦀
@hopeflows10 Are you moving back or just going back for vacation. Be sure to get in some Dungeness crabbing. Have you noticed that even the most aggressive Dungeness crab is still way calmer than the most docile blue crab? I wish blue crabs would just fold their legs and pitchers in when you picked them up. Blue crabs are meaner than Satan.
Don't feel bad for one claw crabs because it's dangerous for them out there. If a crab has only one claw, it doesn't know that it can't fight as well. It will fight against two clawed crabs all day and usually lose. With that being said, for whatever reason, if the crab has lost both of its claws, it knows it's dangerous to fight, so it will bed down in the mud to keep itself safe. That is why you catch very few crabs with no claws. You'll notice a lot of one clawed crabs are caught because they think they're just as tough as the ones with two claws. So, let the crabs without claws go, and they'll go back to hiding. Keep the ones with one claw cause I'd rather they be killed and eaten by you, than to be killed and eaten by another crab.
Great advice! Even though I’m eating the crabs, I always have a soft spot for creatures. I always want to see them thrive and live their best lives. If they are big enough, I will keep them! However, if they are regenerating their claws, I just feel bad for keeping them. But overall, they are all delicious and all shapes and forms. lol 😂 🦀 Work
Yeah, I tried to keep 5 inches and higher. The small ones are just too finicky to pick at when you cook them. Florida definitely doesn’t have a size limit, but everybody is different. I always try to get 5 inches or higher.
Maybe you can pen them up even though they are small. That way you don’t keep catching the same ones. Or tie a chicken leg close to you and release them near it
Thanks for taking me along on a great crabbing adventure!!!!
You’re so welcome! 😉 Thank you for watching!
Keep them coming ✊🏾
Thank you, I appreciate you watching. 🙂
You are too cute crabbing on your own! Need to buy a taser or pepper spray for those secluded spots and sassy pants claim jumpers of your spot! 😂
