In the middle of a similar build. 2013 GS, LSX 427, twin 76mm turbos in the fenders and a rpm 4l80e. All controlled with a holley dominator

What’s the maintenance on turbos like do u just give it to a shop to flush oil and check on things ?
@NakedH2 just change the oil like regular and that's it. Useful to install a catch can and that's about it

Not quite. This is a lme lsx 427. Chris' car is badass in its own right, but it's a 5.3 in a z06. Not the same build.

Zr1 tranny only has the shorter 5th and 6th gear for more high speed pulls. 1-4 is pretty much the same… I have a z06 only thing I’d change is 5th cause most roll races 180mph is enough
When he put in the zr1 trans he told me his gears got a lot longer, like he does 50s, maybe 60s in 1st gear if I remember correctly 😭
