    I have an idea of a way to condition the head for punches. It is not really about condition your head, it is more about building your heads knowleadge of incoming punches. The way this works is that you in some way randomly get hit in the face (light hit) with closed eyes. This will prepare your brain for punches that you do not see coming and might cause a knockout. Not 100% sure if this theory works but I think you atleast should give it a go. Myself I hang up a tennis ball in a rope and let it randomly hit me in the face after closing my eyes. Btw keep up the good work! :)

    As a dutchman myself, been practicing kickbox for 6 years, and have fought up to C-class in a lot of gyms here. (Fred royers, Ubeda, and another few) and I can tell you that I've neer seen anything like this. Ofcourse its very common to throw a left-right-hook-right, but we never block it like that or anything similar. Just wondering what makes you assume it's "dutch" that you're doing right now? (Just curious). Groeten uit Nederland, maat

    • @DanieleTrapani
      @DanieleTrapani 7 років тому +2

      I think he's just referring to the drill with the assistance of a partner, instead of a coach with pads. Not the combo itself. Or at least, that's what I think it is.

      @joesheridan9451 7 років тому +4

      Isn't this kind of half simulated sparring half padwork a dutch thing? In my gym we call it touch technique but always thought it was a dutch k1 kinda thing?

    • @cirogomorra7456
      @cirogomorra7456 7 років тому +1

      As far as I know and experienced, are the dutch (including me) very rough and they won't hold back that much while sparring. I'm not necessarily a fan of this, because i do think you can learn a bit more from technical sparring, but it's way more common in the dutch gym's to spar hard and a bit brutal tho.

    • @TheBling46246

      Tom Ab.c it's illegal to kick the back directly for obvious reasons. While there aren't any rules in Muay Thai, I believe that is one rule that is implemented in competition. If I'm not mistaken.

    • @shadowStunterr
      @shadowStunterr 7 років тому

      Well look, it is true that the best kickboxers comenfrom the netherlands, begause there are so many new generation kickboxers, im one of them. And 70 procent of them are maroccan. But again with the old generation, look at ilias bulaid, jamal ben saddik, badr hari mohammed jaraya mohammed didouh mohammed khamal zakaria zougarry and so so so so many more, there where many maroccans in the ring woth buakaw even they werent the same weight. Its a fact that we took over kickboxing and of you dont want it to be that way, stand up youre seat, train and fght. But there are more dutch marocans with that taught than any other.
      Also marrocans are agressive fighters, most likely all of them. Thats begause we were born og abuse and thats what make us so aggrasive in the ring.

      Yes, We Dutch fight out of the combination. That's true. But your exercise is not something we train here. We actually do not do things very different in comparison to the rest of the world. The reason why Dutch Kickboxing is at a very high level is because of all the great fighters train here. The "sparring partners" are great. If all great fighters would start training in let's say Pakistan everybody would say how great Pakistani kickboxing is. You can learn everything we learn just as good from an American, Russian, Brazilian or any other coach. They are all good teachers. It's the sparring partners that make the difference. But by all means. If you want to call your cool vids Dutch please do. You flatter us. :) Love your vids and we love you. Keep the great vids coming. P.S and show us your girlfriend and house one time. We would like to see your crib.

    I love watching your vids I'm 14 yrs old, and I just love to fight. I've been wanting to get into boxing for awhile, any tips? I'm 6'1\6'2 250. (ik I'm big) I have street fighting experience, but not in the ring. If I had to rate my boxing skills out of 10 it would be 7.

      if you have ZERO experience in boxing then your boxing skills is ZERO out of 10. I'm not being bossy here: you just totally lack the basics.
