primordial tyrants is already adding dragons, they made 2 mods. primordial tyrants and ignis. ignis has fantasy creatures such as dragons. so i would LOVE a nycta dragon from you guys cus if you add the ignis mod unless its already in then it will fit right in with the rest of em

4:12 In regards to the Nycta Wyvern
As a major fan of dragons & this project I think a Nycta Wyvern would kinda take away from the Nycta Tyranus, who I'll refer to as NT from the remainder of this comment. The NT was a project that I STILL remember you announcing and I remember being so hyped up for it! Back when it was meant for The Isle. But the project just kept getting delayed more & more, and to be honest for a while I thought the NT would NEVER get released! I remember when the animations video was announced & I swore it was mere months from being done and yet here we are YEARS later with it FINALLY being near completion! But not for The Isle, which as big of a bummer as that is and forgive my brutal honesty, but it also kinda feels like a slap in the face at the same time especially since I helped back it at one point. HOWEVER, I do understand why it's no longer on The Isle. It's because things happened & The Isle is getting a FULL makeover which isn't fully done or even fleshed out yet so there's no way it could handle a modded creature as it's still so early in re-development. And there's also a good chance the Legacy Branch couldn't have handled it, even back then as well. Especially looking back at all the problems all the old & planned creatures caused alone! The game was one of the unlucky few to be stuck in Public Beta Dev Hell, at least that's what I call it. And that's when a game goes public but it is still receiving frequent to semi-frequent updates as user feedback comes in & anything in between but never gets past that state due to whatever circumstances arise be it preventable or not. So I'm happy for The Isle don't get me wrong but this still feels bitter sweet, emphasis on the bitter. So to plan a new alt-creature of the same name/design so soon after the release of a major long awaited creature, that is the channel mascot no less, it just feels wrong. Like we're disrespecting it, and yeah sure it's just a blend of pixels and code. But this creature was a labor of love for years! And now all of a sudden this new & "better" version of the character is out?! I'm sorry but it's a hard no from me. Give the creature the respect & love it deserves & let it enjoy the limelight for awhile before considering a "upgrade" to it. BUT, if you still want to release a wyvern go for it! Maybe make it a foil to the NT where the NT users' can have some fun instead of running the joint like mary sues/gary stews. Make the wyvern & NT balanced enemies that way any of them can gain the upper hand when clashing in the wild, but let it also be just intimidating enough to where NT users go "Oh shit I'm prey to this thing I better bounce!" Only to pause a second and go "Wait a second I'm a mother loving NT! This thing should FEAR ME!" And then in classic Godzilla 2018 fashion 'Let Them Fight'! So while I'm all for a Wyvern DON'T MAKE IT A NYCTA!
End of rant/thoughts. And apologies if I came off as too rude or anything I wanted to be honest and hopefully that's what I portrayed & even got my point across. Feel free to downvote my comment if you don't agree , this is just how I feel as a past backer & major fan of the project since the beginning. And feel free to share your thoughts regarding my opinion as well, just don't be a dick about it is all I ask thanks!

I think you chose the perfect first test game for the nycta, mainly because with the species tab you could have a tab where it can be changed to the queen or king nycta(if there still planed that is). And I really like the idea of a nycta wyvern.

I find it crazy how the Nyctatyrannus, despite being modeled and pretty much done for the Isle, is being ported to POT simply because of Isle's lack of modding capabilities nowadays. And honestly, I miss the mods in the Isle, despite having never played Isle, I've always wanted. And something that I ADORE about bigger games, is them allowing the community to mod their game however they wish, for example, the Godzilla Hypo Rex that TGB made a video on almost.. what? 5-6 years ago? Either way, I've always watched both you and TGB's videos on the Isle, anyways back on track. I've loved watching you and TGB's different playstyles of The Isle, always loved how both of you act so differently.

This is a stat estimation based on the other apex tyrants: combat weight 7600, stamina 150, stamina drain rate 5, health 1100, speed 850, bonebreak or bleed/venom .5 (bleed) 10 seconds (break), main bite: 75 damage, charge bite: 110 damage + bone break or bleed/venom; 5 second cooldown (2 for chargeup, .5 for bite, 2.5 for cooldown itself), tail attack: 30, roar: lasts 30 seconds, increases damage or defense of all Nyctatyrannus in group (by +4 damage, stacks four times (again speculation based on other apexes)

I myself have been starting to make custom creatures for mods on ark and hopefully path of titans. If im not mistaken i see the nycta has retractable teeth and i LOVE IT its an aspect i have been hoping to have implemented for a creature idea in Ark specifically and hopefully an aspect i can perfect since retractable teeth to me are amazing

Anth if ur playing sarcho use charged bite first dont trigger it and then use ur lunge and trigger ur charged bite thats what i do with sarcho cuz lunge is weak so i use charged bite first and lunge and trigger the charged bite but idk if it works on deino thats my tip if ur playing sarcho or deino idk if it works on deino u need to fry it out go to a laggy server they will not know that ur charging ur bite cuz its too lagging for them to hewr it😂
