I like the idea of the winner of the fight for that carcass watching it's opponent back off and run away injured, but to hear birds in the background as they look down on the 2 and when that one dino backed off, a flock of birds go after it. Hearing them chirp and screech once again knowing the other player didn't make it.
Gondwa taught those theropods a valuable lesson as well: Be thankful for winning. Had they lost, one of them could’ve been dinner for the Guillotine Dragons, as that unlucky loser was.
Watching that felt like watching a group of Crows - intelligent and opportunistic birds. I enjoyed the flyer vs aquatic situation at the start for the same reason - felt like watching a family of Crows attacking the infant of a predator in spite (as they are very known to do), only to lose one of their own to the mothers fury.
I actually really enjoyed the new take on a almost half documentary and half gaming video creating a nature story that felt reminiscent of walking with dinosaurs and the like.

I been away from this game for awhile now but was so happy to see we finally had a Flyer AND A TYRANNOSAURUS FINALLY, I honestly thought the Dasp was gonna be as close as they was gonna go to a Rex but I’m glad to see he’s made it into the game and that they did a respectfully amazing job with both the Rex and the flyer’s sounds
They really need to add a Quetz or a Hatzegopteryx or any Azhdarchid. Also they way you made this video was so freaking cool and honestly kept me on the edge of my seat. Keep it up Ant.
I just got back into this game earlier after finding out about the new dinos, especially the ability to fly, within 10 minutes I was invited by another Thalassodromeus, managed to complete some quests together before being killed by some alloys, I love this game ❤
It actually isn't better than The Isle. Dinosaurs don't have enough unique abilities to differentiate from each other, lots of recycled animations and sound effects, the questing and growth systems are abysmal grindy slogs and their community is teeming with toxic PVPers. But I will admit their devs know how to deliver updates on a timely schedule - even if said updates are mediocre in quality. Not that The Isle is much better though. Their dev team is truly laughable. 7 years of development with little to show for it. It's been over a year since that game received a new playable (last one being pachy) and its optimization is even worse than PoT's. Not to mention their dev team consists of pathological liars. IMO, both games are rather bad, for entirely different reasons. The Isle puts out incredibly sparse, buggy but meaningful updates that are continually bogged down by terrible optimization, while PoT chugs out monthly shallow "quantity over quality" updates that do nothing to address the core game's issues with the combat, growth and questing system. Neither of them are worth anyone's time or money at the moment.
This reminds me of an old Isle video you made a few years back where you just had a voiceless montage of Utahs or Carnos running around the dock. Great video!
I kinda dig these docu hybrid type videos makes the whole thing pretty interesting, especially when we get an immersian break from you all just being complete idiots and laughing about it LOL
I really want to play Path of Titans but I can't because I don't have enough money. Anyway, this video was fun to watch! Can't believe that dinosaur came out and how it can swim underwater! And the logic of the game!!
For real.... This update felt like "Path of Titans 2" The improved controls, new dinos, mechanics, WONDERFUL map, everything. IMPO this was the update where Path stopped competing with Isle. Like....this update surpassed all of Isle's combined updates for the year. (Amazing what having development goals, plans, and etc can do.)
Think of this path of titans got fliers and fully aquatics and a new map Meanwhile the isle struggles to update every 7+ months and has a bunch of creatures people want finished and ready but refuses to release any of them cuz “it doesn’t feel like the right time”

I like how you turned a silly dinosaur MMORPG (Well, I guess this video wasn't really a DINOSAUR one, but still...) into a nature documentary/gameplay hybrid. Really cool and immersive video
I’d love for the next one an aquatic creature play though with this same style of video and the thalassotherapy seem to have a gigantic skill curve to even take on bigger targets
Why is it a fisher tho. Why. It was a terrestrial carnivore that could go into full gallop and hunt relatively large prey. If they wanted a diving fisher they should've added geostenbergia or smth instead of teasing us with this unique pterosaur just to make it eat fish.
At first I thought I was going to watch a brand new episode from "Prehistoric Planet" ;-) And yes: The barrel roll (lunge ability) for the plesiosaur is the best!
14:58 you are right anthomnia they are not strong in fact I was playing as a sucho and one of those pterosaurs tried to attack me, ONE PUNY PTEROSAUR, and I one-shot that guy
I'm pretty confident that spork, yes that's what I call them, could have done better if it had the claw attack that inflicts bleed. It was a balanced spork though so perhaps it's higher defense is what carried it?

I played PoT since the day one when they released the game. I kinda proud to see the developments until now... Still a lot of rooms to fix. But overall its playable and pleasant for me.

Love the way the game looks! (Personally the narration was…a bit lackluster in my opinion, just because the same tone of voice and intensity was used consistently 😅 no inflection, not up and down. The writing was good but the delivery needs some work. Otherwise this was really enjoyable and has potential ✨ )
I have a question, how did you capture all of those epic shots? I noticed you use the emote wheel so do you play on ipad or computer? I play on ipad (but I am going to try to transfer account to computer) also, how long does it take to grow the thaleodrumus?

Backed by developers whereas isle is a small individual team. I wouldn’t call PoT better. It has its own issues.

Had a flock of Thals (named them sky rats lol) pock on my group of Sarcos. They did like no damage. But definitely fun to play "catch the sky rat"

As the thala you can use the subspecies with +incoming damage to increase the damage you do when you dive into other creatures
