this series is awesome. getting a small behind the scenes look into a bar and their concept, it's like getting to know the folks at that cool bar in your town that makes you feel like a regular. it's also very cool that the bars are willing to share some of their signature cocktail recipes. that gives people from other parts of the world like me the opportunity to have a taste of the bar when visiting it is very unlikely. quality content for sure. i vote for more videos like this, cheers!
Love this concept. I especially love the tangents about specific ingredients, like the right ratios for a honey syrup or the appropriate proof of bourbon. It’s so nerdy, but hearing a real-world professional talk about those things is hugely educational and helpful for those of us trying to improve our at-home game.
Great videos! These tours have been awesome! If you are ever back in NC, come check out the classic cocktail bars we have here in Asheville. It's impressive for a small city in the mountains.
Great video! Loving this new series! Please go to The Snug in Sacramento! Also- best Tiki home bar I’ve ever been to is called Danger Island also in Sacramento, worth checking out!
Love this series! I always try and find a great cocktail bar when I'm in a new city so this series really hits. I'm biased because I live here, but imo the cocktail scene in Austin is one of the best in America (at least out of the places I've been priveleged enough to get to visit). If you're ever in ATX I def think there'd be some bars that would take you up on showcasing them ;)
I thoroughly enjoy this new series. Great idea! what is the ratio for the maple syrup, fino sherry, and pineapple juice concoction used in the smokeshow and how much was used in the cocktail? Asking for a friend...
Been following you since before you quit bartending at Cole’s (that may not have been a super long time ago lol) but I know I had planned to come visit you at Cole’s if I was ever in LA.. with that being said, I’m the GM of a craft cocktail/wine bar in Memphis, called Hen House Wine Bar and would LOVE to have you come in some time!
@freepour Do you by chance know the ratio of the maple syrup, fino sherry, and pineapple juice? Could you make this cocktail on the main channel? Cheers!
I wouldn’t judge them on the Holiday menu. They did the Miracle pop up during Christmas and those drinks were mandated to be served by Cocktail Kingdom. Although I haven’t had any of them I do know that the drinks are formulated to appeal to the widest demographic possible. So really it’s better to go back and try some of the house drinks. Not one drink I had while there was off balance or terrible

Asheville is on the list! Was really bummed we weren’t able to get there this trip!
Asheville has good bars. Johan from WhiskySugarBitters is there. See if he has time to show you around and collaborate?
@@vismundcygnus2800 I would love to! 😀👍
Really like this new series exploring bars and homebars!
Dang! I live in the NC Triangle area and did not know this bar. Glad I do now!

That is another great spot. I really enjoy these up close and personal pieces that high light local bars and homeowner bars.

This place is literally a 5min walk from my apartment. There are so many amazing cocktail bars in this area. 😍

Haven't been to Haymaker yet! gonna have to go now hahaha
Are you guys still in the Raleigh area, I'd love to make you an old fashioned from one of my favorite bars

Apparently it’s incredibly dangerous to make 😂 def gonna have to do a tutorial on it
Glad to see the blue nails make another appearance. 😍
Have people done cocktails with weed? Like a basil smash but like with weed and gin? Imagine a bar/dispensary
That’s tricky leagally

Where there's a will there's a way 😏
Blue nails
I went to the Haymaker during Christmas and ordered off the holiday drinks menu. All of them were terrible. No balance. Not enjoyable.

@@freepour Ok, I’ll give it another chance. I wasn’t aware they had to serve those drinks and that they weren’t really their own creations.
Raleigh nightlife stinks
