I have come the the conclusion that i am making this farm but i am using a diffrent redstone clock because i wanna test what it works on and what it doesnt work on
I was considering doing an earlier version of your automatic farm using villagers, but honestly your bonemeal farm works so well, I may just extend it or build another and then just do this build. Thanks for posting!
You can make this a lot smaller. Place the clock down a block and the block behind the repeater next to the dispenser with redstone over block and dispensers. A block behind redstone dust to place a dust on and point a repeater (on two ticks) directly into piston. Thanks for the idea!

I usually just make a four tiered cascade farm but I think since I recently made an auto experience farm out of a skeleton spawner I will be tearing that down and making this
This is absolutely the fastest way to craft golden carrots whenever anyone has a lot of gold ingots or gold farms, although the golden carrots itself is the best food sources in Minecraft, due to high saturation

Would it be more efficient to remove the piston and break the crops manually with a fortune III tool?
Fortune 3 only works on some crops, and mostly only nets more seeds for those crops.

@civilengineer057 Good choice, but depends what's items i need for farmer villagers, either wheats, potatoes or carrots, this would be easy

The bone meal farm that you build does not work in the new snapshot
for now, something i suggest is a skeleton farm, you can build one out of a skeleton spawner and i find it a lot faster for bone meal than a farm
