Nice little tip for future Imp pilots, the bomber strike package is your best friend, especially when doing your ace pilot vette missions. I've seen the bomber pilot skill handle the entire escort and the vette itself (not out right blow it up), with around a few tie-interceptors and the rest bombers.
Sometimes while after having taken out the bottom gun on the vette (gun 5), and handling the fighters, I had seen the squadron almost practically cripple the ship and just kept distracting the gun boats for me to pick them off. It's a fantastic ability because it essentially acts as your own little freebie when soloing. Though it can fail like all pilot skills, it's super helpful and I think probably the biggest highlight of the faction. Congrats tho on the toughest squadron clear! :)

Great video. Man... that Tie Defender is nearly sexy enough for me to turn Imperial. My first farming run into Ord Mantell a few days ago netted an A tier reactor. A level 2 'A' tier with the A/HP being the A stat... the several hundredth time I've been trolled by RNG in this game.

The Advanced X-Wing is my Rebel TIE Defender haha. At least you got something! I've had no luck on drops or Kash Nunes lately.

@@outofthisworldburrito I just spent 4k tokens and got a C and D tier W0s. Never had much luck from him on live. Been seeing a lot of Heavy X's in DS on Legends. On live it ended up 3:1, so Rebels would stay on A-Wings. There was one B-Wing pilot that could lay waste though.

Still a nice pull! I've spent 45k tokens in the last week on a0s and haven't even pulled something close to D Tier.
The dynamics of Deep Space PvP compared to GCW Invasions have been interesting. The skies are still ruled by the lightest interceptors class but some heavier builds can stay up if there are some numbers to cover them. Once numbers on my faction dwindle I land the Adv X-wing and call it a day or switch to a Heavy Scyk and no-brain some 100% throttle boosted turns.
