I hooked up a secondary old smartphone woth a rynox waterproof case with splitscreen for gps and Spotify. The only crucial things i cant do is dashcam and tpms. Good and much needed mod indeed. Congrats and more power to you bud 🎉
Agreed this gives peace of mind and comes handy when it comes to footage. But, for me this adds up a feel of too many screens around and hampering the view ahead esp during sharp corners or turns.

New Himalayan has an accessory port that delivers 12v when the engine is on(similar to inbuilt Type C charger) This can be located under the tank with a red connector. Just to let you know, this cannot deliver more than the rated current of the dedicated fuse. I recommend using it as a signal wire and connecting the accessory power wires to battery directly.
My c6 pro model has type c port beside sd card slot.do u know if it is for powering up device or charging smartphones and data out port?any idea?does ur c5 pro has such type c port ?
Hey Ben, how bad are the vibrations on the screen when you mount it on the GPS mount above the dash? I mounted by phone on a Bobogears mount and it was too shaky. I ended up mounting it on the handle directly. Also, do any wires need to be cut for install or can it be done keeping the wiring intact?

Hello sir. I urgently need few suggestions regarding the Aoocci dashcam. 1) what kind of memory card is needed to be installed inside the device? Does it support 128 GB fast memory card or 64 GB? Will the device run without memory card, I mean will it be able to save the videos inside the device memory ? 2) How to fix the cams and where?

When you remove the tank, there is a red accessory switch to which you can connect the entire assembly. No need to play around with the battery.

IT SUPPORTS ALL FAST WRITING MEMORY CARD. I USE AN A2 SAMSUNG 64GB. IT NEEDS MEMORY CARD. THE CAMERA PLACEMENTS ARE SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO.
