Don’t confront me with my failures, I have not forgotten them. … A line that brings tears to a person full of failures, but looking forwards to being better. A wonderful song and a wonderful singer.
We are all lucky to be alive in a time when Rachel Price sings.
Agreed, but I'd add every soul that comes into the world hereafter.
Her lower register is unlike any woman singer I have ever heard. You are right - she is an incredible talent. GBjj
There's no question Rachael Price's voice and delivery are extraordinary... but also notice the arrangement is beyond magnificent.
The voice of this generation singing a song, a poem really, from the voice of another generation. Pure bliss.
So true and well said.
Never hit “like” so fast, Rachael and company covering These Days, one of the saddest, most beautiful songs ever.
Okay. You guys got the Queen. The very tiptop of possible singers.
There's no other voice like Rachael Price. I hope you recorded a TON of songs in that session.
check out Olivia Chaney if you're into the folk/alt scene thing
Love Rach and band…
I'd suggest that Haley Reinhart is somewhere within a standard deviation of Rachael's tiptopiness.
To think that Jackson Browne was only 16 when he wrote this evergreen. Wow.
His mother wrote it.
@@frankwallis8940 Good god have you notified the authorities?
I could write a song without melody at age 8, so big whoop.
@@wcstrawberryfields8011You sound fun
@@wcstrawberryfields8011What is a song without melody?
Is there ANYTHING this woman can't sing?ALways, such beauty and soul and richness. stories were perfect with her!
I’ve yet to find something she has done that I don’t adore, a’times more than the original. Like ‘I Want You Back’. Or this…
I love it when favourites collide... been a fan of Stories and Lake Street Dive and Rachel and Vilray for years ... love to see this.
Ditto plus Jackson Brown is a genius.
Jackson BrownE is really a genius!!
@@HermannFamily Nothing against Rachel - I just "discovered" her earlier tonight - and it's not my intention to upset anyone or to downplay Ms Prices's considerable talent - but IMHO - Jackson Browne will be remembered as a genius long after Ms. Price is a mere footnote to music history
Maybe it's just her intention to be a beautiful person with a beautiful voice that brings enjoyment to people. As the last lines in this song states: "Don't confront me with my failures..I have not forgotten them". Maybe more of us should take the "genius's" words to heart.
One of my favourite Jackson Browne's masterpiece. Its so freshly done here.A classic in itself.
one of my all time favorites and written at 16 makes it even more special
Three favorites - Rachael Price, Jackson Browne, and his These Days. Just stunning with tears.
As a fan of Jackson Browne forever, this interpretation of his classic brought the tears.
I’m praying you guys come to Kentucky or Indiana!!
Artists at the pinnacle of musical expression and performance. Jackson Browne's classic composition sung by Rachael Price. Doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for posting.
If I could imagine one thing I've wanted for the last decade, it's that this woman would come out with a serious solo album
That dude's Epiphone guitar sounds amazing, and of course the beautiful sound of Rachael's one of a kind vocal instrument. Outstanding!
so much 70's soul and vibe...She would have been a mega star back then....but why not now??? She's amazing.
Goosebumps! I hope that Jackson Browne will get to hear what You young people did with his song.
One of the greatest voices I have ever heard. I've been a fan of Rachael Price since she first started with Lake Street Dive. This is truly a beautiful arrangement, and her voice is the icing on the cake.
She started with the pricetags
"These days I seem to think a lot
About the things that I forgot to do
For you
And all the times I had the chance to"
I am at an age now where those lyrics resonate so much as I'm sure they do for many others.
Jackson Browne wrote them at 16.
The ochestral arrangement here, amplifying and sustaining certain notes, brings the melancholy to the forefront in a beautiful way. Lovely work by the vocalist, also.
I am stunned. Such a beautiful heart-rendering cover of this song. This song was written for Rachael.
This just popped up for me. I recognized Ms. Price's face and clicked before reading a word of the title. If she's singing, I'm listening.
what control Rachel has over her voice and this song.
nice
I love pure music. No auto tuner - no computers. Lovely.
Gorgeous version of Jackson Browne's song. Thank you Rachel.
Her voice is the real deal. Natural and powerful. Worlds beyond most of the fake crap on pop radio these days.
She sang with hot tuna covering Jefferson Airplane just fantastic
10sec are enough to realize that she has an impressive voice. Absolutely amazing, gorgeous version
Easily one of my favorite female vocalists of the modern era! 👍👍 Listen to some Lake Street Dive if you haven't heard her before.
My favorite singer, one of my dad's favorite songs....oh, my heart
I forgot how much I loved Jackson Browne's songs. Nice job bringing this one back for me. Thank you!
Rachael price is priceless . The full sound is superb
My first exposure to Rachael. Great voice and great arrangement.
This was my first exposure to Rachael: ua-cam.com/video/6EPwRdVg5Ug/v-deo.html Still great after all these years!

You have some catching up to do. Enjoy.
Her voice just punched me right in the heart from the first notes. Brava!
Wow... That touched me to my very soul. Thank you.
What a pleasant surprise to see Rachael here!
The arrangement is beautiful.
Rachael has a unique and rich voice. I love listening to her. stories alone is reason enough for me to pay for UA-cam.
OMG I love Rachel Price - her voice is warming up more and more - so much character - You are so beautiful, Rachel. Please come to Sydney. Pete
This is possibly Jackson Browne's greatest piece of work and to hear Rachael cover it simply proves that,Between the musical accompanying and the smooth richness of of her singing makes this a true classic!
To understand what beauty is, to have that sense of goodness which comes when the mind and heart are in communion with something lovely without any hindrance so that one feels completely at ease - surely, this song/artist are beautiful.
Well stated.
The trumpet playing, delicate, muted and flowing like a river through this tune really holds it together. Bravo!
Rachael... I will always love you. lol - you are indescribably good. I cant wait to see you at the eastern in october 2024!
Another stunning stories coupling the amazing Rachael Price with a classic sad song in an awesome arrangement!! 10/10
AAaaand…..we are reminded through this beautiful voice and simple, masterful instrumentation that Jackson Browne is one of the world’s greatest songwriters. 🤎🥰
Yes, and I'm seeing him live for the first time later this year.
two of the greatest minds in music today Rachael and Rob
This is one of the most beautiful covers of this song I've ever heard.
Wow! She not only sings it, she is the song. Totally into it.
Sweet heavens, this was just absolutely breathtaking. Everything about it was just glorious. Thank you for sharing it.
I had no idea. Rachael is the most beautiful voice I have heard in my 72 years. I remember her father Tom from my youth in New York. The mystical sound of Baha music. Rachael's voice is the essence of enchantment. So glad I have found you.
"don't confront me with my failures, I have not forgotten them" what a confession, the entire song is a kind of confessional and this ensemble really captured the mood so originally. Back in the day almost no one covered his songs. I think because his singing style was unusual or whatever. But what you have done is so original and true and beautiful. Thank you.
I could watch and listen to Rachael Price forever
that voice, that woman - pure perfection.
The world needs more Rachael Prices singing.
Oooooooooooooooooweeeee! You guys got Rachel in the house! Good stuff.
This is very, very good - I could listen to Rachael Price singing it all day. But it's not, think I, the best, "just" the 3rd best. Jackson Browne & Nico top it for me.
What a beautiful, haunting arrangement of a sweet, melancholy song.
What a beautiful rendition. So awesome to see his music carried by a completely new generation.
Every time I return to listen to her it appears her voice has grown more beautiful. What a tremendous performance of this song.
Bravo, Rachael! Tears are streaming down my face ‘though I’ve listened to this song for decades. Love what you do!
It's refreshing to hear when a classic has been as well done as this.
Heaven and Rachael is an Angel ... waiting at the door X!
The best birthday present for Rachel!
Voice of an angel. Rachael is the most and this ensemble and version, breathtaking. Thanks for posting
Jasckson has alway been and old soul. Born to write songs
Pure artistry on every level and perfection from Rachael. Magnificent, timeless videos, productions, and performances like these are warmly welcomed gifts that keep on giving.
This was great! Rachael has been a fav for a long time and hearing her with the strings and wind behind was really nice.
I watched & listened .❤❤❤Then I watched & listened again❤❤❤❤.Perfectly Sublime. Perfectly Ethereal ❤❤❤❤
Yes Ryan, great song and fantastic rendition! Sometimes I’m disappointed about music in our time, but this channel revives me, wonderful music, thanks again mate
Loved to hear yMusic in concert with the great Paul Simon. And Rachael is wonderful.
It's my (non) professional opinion, that a cello makes everything better! Lovely recording by the way.
I feel like I’m having a Carol King moment… that is quite a compliment!!! Bravo 🙌
Did it justice.........and more !
I sat a while and thought about something musically significant to say but, it was absolutely gorgeous is enough, I think. Kudos to everyone involved.
Rachel Price and orchestra, this song is soooo beautiful, I start many of my days off listening to your version and it touches my heart and soul , I am a Jackson Browne fan and you have complimented Jackson for covering him in such a beautiful fashion! Many thanks to you all and hopefully will see Rachel and the Dive group one of "These Days". You make an old man better with your music. Peace and Love to all, mickey paul
I ask you...does it get any better than this? I think not. A feast for our ears.
Just beautiful, gorgeous arrangement and performance all round. There is a quality in Rachel’s voice that touches me deeply, I have been raised and fed on those wonderful soul singers of the past and she is their equal for sure, a special talent.
Double, Triple...LOVE. The flutist is fantastic.
Rachael Price: A voice lined with velvet!❤
Rachael is the cream in my musical coffee
this is literally the best music on the internet these days
My heart has been waiting to listen to this. I'm fully fulfilled. The arrangement is mindblowing.
He wrote that when he was just 16. Amazing! You too, amazing.
This is absolutely brilliant. I have always loved this song. You have made it a real treat to listen to. Rachel and the arrangement made my hair stand on end. Thanks!
The best, BEST version of this song, period.
Oh my. This is so moving.
These days goes back to when i was a young teenager. I love this.
Nobody can sing this song like Rachael Price
How about Jackson Browne?
@@scotteranger4524 okay …😉
Gosh what a singer. I forget how good she is
Awesome Awesome Jackson Browne at 16 A genius Awesome Rachael Price Just awesome Yes absolutely, gooasebumps
It's so hard not to have expectations after seeing the thumbnail for this. I've actually hoped to see her here ever since you scored Rachael at SP. It was extra SPECIAL that yMusic collaborated and Hideaki was back for this one. I'm also so glad that you included yourself in this one Ryan. I hate to be NEEDY, specially after you have just gifted the world with such BEAUTIFUL ART, but I now must BEG YOU to bring Shoshana back for a turn at stories ... the world needs it. Thank You and your team for enrichening my life with all the art you create.
YES! Bring Shoshana to stories!
This is just sublime. Love love love the arrangement and the vocals - I mean it's Rachel!
Excellent vocals, beautiful arrangement. I'm sure happy I found this piece.
Yep, The One and the Only.... No doubt about it. ✨🌸🙏🌸✨
I haven't heard of this lass, but I just fell in love with that voice. Thankyou. How lovely.
Overwhelming! Brava!
So beautiful. This is one of my favorite songs, so I hold any version of it to very high expectations, and y'all knocked it out of the park.
She's a treasure. I could listen to her sing food labels.
Way to go, dear Rachel!! Truly beautiful.
I love me some Jackson Browne. Of all his song this would not have been the first one I would have picked. But I have to say, this lady does sing a little more sweetly than he does. And this is a lovely arrangement. Well done.
Ohhhh.... when the strings came in following on from the wind section I got goosebumps the size of tennis balls. Sublime work from all ❤
There will be people that listen to this song for the first time. A whole new generation.
I love hearing Rachel sing so beautiful!
