mine has the 11 flash fault, dud fan. Tested it with 12v, nil op, put one of the others on that harness and it works, ordered one from china on ebay $20 and waiting for it to rock up. Hopefully that sorts the problem. Interestingly resitence testing the dud fan shows it is not that different to a good one and it spins freely. Would be nice to know what fails in them.
Great video Allen. I have a txp42gt30b which went click and turned off, 7 red flashes. My Y sus board is all in one with the buffer board. I had a very loose screw at the top on the set. Also no continuity across one of the power boards fuses. Did you do a video for the 42”? Do you think I may have to change both boards? £200 if I do which I dont want to waste if it doesnt fix it.
Hi, As a TV repair specialist, where do you buy your igbt for Panasonic plasmas (30f131, ....) which are now obsoleted since a Long time and no more in stock at reliable providers (mouser, digikey, rs, ...). eBay and Ali express are mostly fakes and i don't know which seller to trust ! ... Coul'd you share an advice ?
Hi i managed to fix my tv but used the original bolts. After a clean and back panel alignment (sound vibrations) i checked the screws and some of them actually moved a little after tightening them again. Do you know the screw size of these boards so i can order new ones with springs and washers to make this not fail again in the near future? They seem like M3
Hi Allen. I have the 7 blink code on my plasma 42 incher. Model TH-P42S10D. It however works for 5 minutes or so and then goes into a 7 blink standby. What should I do? I am handy with a screwdriver and other basic stuff. Please advice. Thanks.
@@allenfleckney5969 checked all the screws after opening the tv. Cleaned the power supply board, and all boards in general. Reassembled and still the same problem crops up after 5 minutes or so. Next what could I do?

Hi Laurence. Shouldn’t be £200 ? Yes your fets on the board would have blown. Plus the IC’s. Also 2 transistors and a fuse on the power supply short out sometimes. Plenty of repair agents on eBay that will sort this for you.

Hi Steve. If it’s 7 blinks yes. Check gor shorts on those fets. If it’s not the mosfets on the y sus it could be a buffer board.

Check all screws in all boards are tight. You may get lucky

If the screws are tight and there are no shorts on the Y sus. Then it’s usually the main board.

Hi John 8 blinks is usually the X- Z or as panasonic call it the SS board. It’s the right hand side one.

Yes the SS board. Make sure you match the 2 corresponding letters . Maybe AG etc.
