Have a odd thing with the B10, I just gotten it today. It's suppose to be supported with the DIgital setting with my a7Siii, but only when in analog, the audio meter starts moving. Is there a setting or something that I am missing?
@@zy_cheng does that mean that the Sony ECM-B1M sounds better than the ECM-M1 It's all so confusing! I was about to buy the B1M as it seems the best on paper, but I'm wondering as the M1is newer will it be better for audio The garden where I film is beside a road and more often than not I'm halfway through a sentence and a car/van/lorry whizzes by at 60 Mph and it ruins it I'm hoping one of these reduces it down slightly. I'm less concerned for the bells and whistles, just which ever one will sound best

I was going to buy this one but using it on a Nikon Z cameras but you are the only reviewer that actually mentions "compatible alpha" so... is this only working on Sony's? The only reason I want it is that uses no cables so if it needs cables for other brands....eh :D

Awful mic. I am sorry to say. Unless you’re stationary. Then it is acceptable but why would you not then use a ”real mic”? A small mic like this should 100% be suitable for real r&g
Get an extension bar that attaches to the bottom of ur camera or video cam. Or get a media rig like the Ulanzi M-rig. It have numerous 1/4 20 threads and cold shoe mounts.

Rather similar in terms of audio quality, though this one costs considerably less. The ECM-M1 is quite a bit more elaborate in terms of features.

This only works on compatible sony cameras, it won’t work if you get this for your Nikon Z
