your vision is conditioned by your cultural background family faith and so on so u fight agains fake images. from the past .. it takes time but the world must evolve into an equal world where ehat u eat thesexvu prefer is a very private thing and not something u have to do coming out and others to accept your difference in bed they do the same sexual games using the same organs .. so why u have to tell u do them with a man when another guy do the same with a woman there is no difference in gay games
My husband and I are both immigrants. His parents immigrated to the US when he was 6 years old. They’re from Cuba. My parents immigrated to the US when I was 8. We are from Brazil. Both families wanted to have better life conditions and better job opportunities. He was kinda great at sports. So, he joined the wrestling team. I was the opposite. So, I decided to join the drama club. I was bullied every single day. One day, he saw some guys being really nasty to me. He came close, told the boys to stop and took me home. At that very moment, I was sure he was the man of my dreams. It was 1977, and we both were in high school. He was a sophomore and I was a freshman. From that day on, we started seeing each other. But, in 1980, he said he'd love to go steady. We've been together since then. My Cuban superhero!!❤❤❤
Thanks a lot for sharing your story. If you ever visit Los Angeles, let me know. I'll be more than happy to record your story and share it with the community.
Bars in Long Beach I meet you, actually twice; two different weekends. Then i returned to San Bernardino. you were just as sweet back then. Three friends and i from San Bernardino attended the 3rd. showing after getting flat tire on the way there. So we were a mess but we had a good time ! Hugs mi amigo. Joe.
Nice to see another version of your story. I think there was another video right? Or I am forgetting. Anyway, nice to hear your story of your journey.BTW, I was at that March on Washington too in 1993. :)
I recently connected with Robert, who is going through tough times at the moment. His mom is dealing with a severe case of memory loss, and he takes care of her as much as he can. His dad is still around, but apparently he never really got past the initial issue of Robert being gay. Time didn't heal after all.
i dislike telling «my husband » or « spouse »it is a copy of str8 life husband and wife ! it is my partner is far better how is this partnership , if married or not does not change your implication with the other
𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨, a gay civil rights activist, shares his 'growing up gay' as a Mexican immigrant story. It's a story of struggle and triumph.
