S.janaki was invited to Madras to witness a singing competition followed by the prize distribution,Sp balasubramanam was handed over the prize by her,this was the first time they met,she told sp you have a beautiful dynamic voice,why dont you try in movies,she says they tell this to all,but only the talented come so far,later on they went on to sing numerous duets and finally his ill health, he was hospitalized, I prayed a lot for his recovery,but he never came back,may his soul rest in peace.
