I used JDM dc5 engine harness which is way shorter than yours and it sucked. Maybe one day I will switch over to the USDM spec RSXs ones.

Anyone kno why the conversion harness plugs into the injector plug on the passenger side shock tower?

The conversion harness shouldn't plug into the injector plugs.
