Agree. The manager wasted this generation of USAB team... I was so excited to see what potential performance of these guy gonna deliver. They had to be the best line up team to never went and won the international title, neither fiba or olympic. They could have won if it wasn't for the horrible coaching, management and roster changes. I think they were supposed to be the 1st redeem team(before the 08 team) to reclaimed another international win(through the olympic) after the USAB major failure in 02 fiba. I maybe bias but I still think they were on par with 08 redeem team... Eventually, I find out the whole USAB roster had been changed when they were about to be prepare for Athen olympic. Only AI, Jefferson, and Duncan stayed. The rest were dropped out from the roster. I was so disappointed when I couldn't saw Tmac, Vince, Bibby, Ray, Elton, Kmart & Kidd in the 04 olympic team. I already knew and expected the US would lose without a lot of the great player from this 03 roster. The chemistry and performance had been messed up ever since the whole roster on that USAB team has been changed as well. Such a heart breaking to watched. Probably, one of the most disappointing day for USAB of all time ! I'm a fan of USAB but at the time, it was like the manager and some of the player from USAB were just giving a fake hope to its supporter !! Considering they made a roster changes, years later, what's even a point if they brought a bunch of rookie player in the team such as Wade, Lebron & Carmelo when the coach, Larry Brown, didn't even gave them a bit longer time to play !? That's quitely remind me of how the Argentinian coach of 06 FIFA WC when he just put young Messi and Tevez on the benched during their match against Germany and they got forced to penalty kicked time and lose it. So was USAB in 04 when Larry didn't really care about the younger player on his national team... Such a stupid decission ever made. I think if they brought a bunch of Pistons player who'd just won the 04 nba final instead of Lebron, Wade & Carmelo during the roster changes, that would be enough for them to went further in Athens Olympic.

Iverson and T-Mac had garbage squads around them in their primes; and a lot of injuries which I’m sure was at least partially due to them having to do so much on their own through the course of the season. Just imagine if they would’ve some how been on the same NBA team and had just a decent squad around them 🤦🏽♂️. They could’ve definitely gotten at least one ring in the 00s💯

Billups should be in 2004 team instead of 2010 squad. With a lot of player from 2004 Pistons, that would have had tighten the US defense
