mix ratios are calculated according to acre-feet of water present, so I can't give you an exact calculation. However, as a trial run, I would try adding 4ozs of Flumigard, along with 3ozs of Weedtrine to two gallons of water in a pump sprayer. Pick a few areas to spot treat to see what kind of weed kill you get, and you can adjust ratios from there. Remember to spray just a few areas, no more than 25% of the surface area, to avoid killing too much at a time... the last thing you want is to risk a fish kill. good luck, and thanks for the comment.
Can you share the ratio you used to mix the flumigard? And roughly how large pond is? I have a 1.5 acre pond, struggling with curly leaf and duckweed, I’d like to give your method a try. Thanks!
Hi, sorry for the delay! We used a cup (8ozs) of pelletized flumigard per two gallons of water. The pond in the video is almost a surface acre. If you don't have any vegetation you want to keep, you might consider Fluridone, such as Sonar. It will readily eradicate duckweed and curly leaf. Hope this helps, thanks for the comment!
It’s been a couple weeks now. I just got 4 more bags. I was told this works real good but haven’t seen that yet. I may not have been treating the areas heavy enough so going to try again.
@@bbfarmsmaple8011 yes that’s why I tried spot treating. I did opposite ends of the pond and not very big of an area. I do have solar aerators for the fish. Just need to knock this weed back and not seeing results yet
What ratio for the weedtrine with the flumigard? Thanks hate this stuff every year. We have a 8 acre pond.

Did it work for you? I have problems with curly leaf also and have been using hydrothol but no results yet
How long since you applied the hydrothol? That should've controlled the pondweed.

@@shawnbabeaux970 be careful not to treat the entire pond at one time, excess dead/dying vegetation can sometimes cause a low oxygen event!

Cool video
