  • This has been a moment we have been waiting for! Between a few adjustments, the truck already feels a lot more solid. The front still needs some work but it is on the right track!

    Cool video! Back a few years ago I was part of the crew of a club level SCCA road race team and the driver kept complaining that the car was way too stiff. The springs were right for the weight of the car, but when we checked the compression adjusters they were all the way tight. We backed them off to about half and instantly the car was better. Definitely not something to overlook, but easy to considering all the other things going on. The fact that yours were opposite is interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of re-valving.

    that's a perfect road to dial suspension, that line going to and from the tank that sits on the other side of the railroad tracks back to the mountain. Not too big or deep whoops and the ground isn't too soft or too hard like the dry lake bed. That's the best place on the planet biggest variety of the best terrain especially up towards the dunes cause the wind blows and grooms everything smooth. the softer it gets the smoother the ride. Try cruising the sand highway to the Sand Damn . Next video take it to the Sand Damn. You don't need 4x4 cause you got the suspension now where you don't ever have to let off, you can blitz whoops and charge rough sections.

    In the first few videos the fronts all over the place need to adjust rebound or rebuild shocks with strap limiters.

    When you run bypass shocks what do you do to the valving in the coilovers?

      You detune them to a bare minimum to have the bypass shock do most of the work. In this scenario the coilover is acting as a coil carrier.
