How to Make Pool Pump Quieter With One Simple $15 Item!

Here's how I made my pool pump quieter by a pretty big amount with 1 simple item I already had leftover from another soundproofing project! Now there's no more vibrations and noise coming from my noisy pool pump!
The sound deadening material I used to make my noisy pool pump quieter is typically used to sound deaden vehicles. The reason why this works so well is because of the two sided material - sound deadening and vibration reduction. The results were amazing after 3 weeks.

I have to thank you. Our pump is beside the house and between fences. Sound amplified. I ordered the auto sound reduction sheets, and what a difference. I could not find the link to the material. Could you please reply. I have two pool pumps in a condo pool equipment room that is directly adjacent to my condo. It is causing vibrational and disruptive noise. I also have some type of clicking chemical release mechanism attached to a wall that is making noise. How would you suggest I sound proof that item. That's not a solid concret pad, it is prefab and is hollow, this is the sound they make when motor is not 100% resting on it. Paddding is a good help.

Wouldn't a sheet of dense foam do the same thing? Or is the material you linked more effective?

I find the dense foam will work for a couple of hours and then it just sits on it and vibrates as much as ever. The stuff I linked works amazing but any sound deadening mats for vehicles like the one I linked should also work just as good! Thanks
