another suggestion: use FERRULES on your Stranded Wire terminating into your INVERTER or other Screw-Down connectors ...

Very cool.
The tool side bag.
Have you done anything to test EG4 MPPT 10048 Charge Controller?
Wonder if they make ferrules or terminals that would make it easer to get that #8 in the inverter lugs.
I'm going to look into it. Thanks for the idea!
Do ac fuses work 12v dc
What awg did you use from the combiner box to the inverter?
Windynation #6 gauge.
What's the size of Charge controller for sixteen 12v/200W Solar Panel connected in series, to charge eight 12v/200A Battery Bank connected for 48v
Must I also connect the panels in Series/Parallel to get 48V?
I would look for the charge controller with the highest input voltage. So 150v+ wire your panels in a series/parallel config until you meet or get close to that voltage/amperage. The charge controller you use will charge the 48v batteries in the desired parameters.
Try to combine more panlels. I have and I don´t get in to work.
Check the input voltage of the inverter.
@@SunBitSynergy It´s 150 volt. With 4 panels I am above that and I am trying to add amps from my other source that is wind power. The Fronies don´t have the possibility to have batteri. Otherwice I had ofcause just added the extra power to that battery. The Combiner box from Eco-Worthy I thought would tace care of this since it has diodes. I unerstand I cant add volt but the amps I think should be possible. Trying to get helt from the company. Thay don´t understand. I have a video about it in my shannes of you want to see. Try one out from them perhaps is good fro your channel. Thank you for your time sir!
HOWdy S-B-S, ...
That Combiner Box looks identical to my ECO-WORTHY - 4-String unit ...
Except it is "missing" the SURGE-PROTECTOR in the space on your DIN Rail ...
4 fuse holders = 10 amp fuses / one 60 amp Circuit Breaker / + / a nice SURGE-PROTECTOR ...
same two door clasps ... on a plastic BOX ...
same small stainless steel external attachment brackets ...
suggestion = you may want to purchase some "GLANDS" for the wires / cables EXITING your Combiner Box for your MAIN +RED+ & -BLACK- & Bare Copper GROUND
...
Thanks

I checked into some of your suggestions. The combiner box that I have here is not exposed to any elements as it is inside of an enclosed trailer so I do not think that I need the glands exiting the combiner box. I do have a surge protector that I could install but as all of the wires from the panels to the box are less than 10m I think if lightning hits the trailer I would have other problems then protecting my equipment. For me to properly ground the system, I would have to run a lightning rod to the ground of wherever I have the trailer parked as this trailer moves quite frequently, I do not find that to be very convenient for my application. Thank you for your comment!
@@SunBitSynergy - glands prevent spiders & earwigs & etc Etc ETC BUGS from making a home inside your Combiner-box too ...
