I love that everything isn't perfect and symmetrical at every single step. There are rips and fingerprints and thin spots. I feel so SEEN by this! And yet it still turns out beautiful. I've only been doing clay for about a month and I need to learn to be more accepting of the imperfections. Thanks for not editing it to perfection. It's much less intimidating this way.
I try not to cut all the cringey parts out because, honestly, they won't matter as long as most of it's good, most of the time. I find consistent Okayness is a MUCH BETTER strategy than sometimes perfect. At least if you need stuff done without tears.

Loved your tutorial, it answered a few questions that I had.
You have certainly simplified the DKato feather cane...thank you.
It's a great cane. And the first few times I did it, I got a bit lost and made really lovely scrap.
Thanks, Elaine. Another great tutorial!
Thanks so much!
Great video. Thanks.
Thanks!
Wow I love it, thank you very much
Thanks!
Love the feather cane, you make it look easy 😊💗👏🏻 Thank you
Thanks! You should have seen the first few I did - it made very pretty, frustrating, scraps.
