Some people roll it with no problem but I find it works better to pinch, squeeze and gently pull it longer. In any of my videos where I reduce the canes you'll see me doing that. You'll get less distortion. When it's a smaller diameter you can try rolling it a bit and it should work better.
Yeah, it's a bit of a speed build / a quick demo but if you want, you can reduce the speed of youtube videos playback by clicking the little gear in the video corner and then picking a speed. I also link to the tutorial I started with and modified to get to this rose
Its too far away. I cant tell how your forming the clay. I know teardrop, I just can't tell where your pushing the color, and I really wanted to see it.😔
Yeah, this is a quick watch as I make it type thing. For the *shapes* of the rose parts I really suggest the tutorial I link to in the description which has step out pics. The shading in mine is simpler but the shapes are similar.
Yeah I was shooting with the wide angle setting on my phone at that point so it looks too far away. I'm hoping to get another rose step thru with different settings in the next bit.
Yeah... this is just a quick watch while I do it type thing and I'm still fooling with settings for the camera as I go. The instructions for the process, more or less, can be found in the tutorial I linked in the description though!
I love how you work to have almost no waste. I see people, every time they squeeze the clay they need to take of a piece. You work clever.
I have been doing this a LONG time and smaller canes like this shouldn't have much waste, really. Bigger ones I always lose more!
Beautiful-best rose cane I’ve seen.
Wow, thank you! This is definitely my favourite colour combo for it!
Beautiful rose cane. I hope you make another video with close ups!
Thanks! I hope eventually I'll be able to get a better recording set up.
Best rose cane i have ever seen, well done and thanks for sharing your method.
The colour makes it for this cane!
One of the nicest rose canes I have seen.
Thanks! It's my favourite colour combo and I like the simple design.
You’re right about the colors. Stunning on the rose, not so much on the fingers! Thank you?
It's a great red... and it doesn't spread quite as much as a lot of the others but still gets everywhere. Perfect rose colour though!
Géniale, faut que je fasse cette rose 😊 merci 🙏🏻 🎉
it's my favourite rose colour combo!
Very pretty, beautiful colors, thank you
My favourite rose combo!
So perfect. Can you roll the cane to make the rose smaller once you finish putting the translucent clay, or will you lose the shape?

Beautiful work
Nice colors
Thanks!
Looks fabulous but I can't quite see what you are doing as you put the rose together.
Yeah, it was a bit of a quick video! I'll have to shoot another rose with a little clearer assembly.
@@Tooaquarius that would be fantastic. I look forward to seeing it
Bravissima 😍
Could you film a little closer. It’s hard to see what your working with. Thanks.
I hope eventually! This was just a recording I took of me running through regular work rather than aiming for a tutorial.
Love the colors & the realistic look, but the video is to fast. Can’t catch enough details to do it myself.

Your camera is too far away for me, the thumbnail looked good though

Can't see what you are doing to far away an too fast
