It sounds utterly ridiculous that Violet has a different dad. Bob Parr loves her, and called her his daughter in no uncertain terms.
I always thought that violet just dyed her hair as part of her aesthetic.

Or she could had got black hair from her family members as well like her grandmother or grandmother father or her uncle mixed with bob since they both brothers or something

Chances are, either it's just a recessive gene or she's adopted. As for powers(if it's the former), given the vast variety with Jack Jack, I'd say superpowers are more random chance rather than genetic, and having parents with superpowers just increases the likelihood of having powers.

Personally, I think that Violet's real father died and Snug was just family to her biological father. After all, at the wedding Elastigirl asks Bob if he's up 'for this' which could mean she was pregnant at the time. Plus, if he was a close friend of both Violet's real parents it would make more sense why she didn't look pregnant. Although, there's so many different routes the actual writers could have in mind for this fact, so no one can really say for certain.

Snug is not the father to Violet. Remember Xerek used to be the villain, but we can add him to the prequel of The Incredibles movie. Since Xerek and Helen used to have a thing for each other in the past. Before Helen met Bob Parr the first time. That would mean Helen found out that she's pregnant with Xerek's baby. But Helen thought Violet's father is Bob Parr. That is my idea for prequel movie.

Violet might be adopted as well but that would make rabbit holes and confution of her powers even more

Marcoburst did die by Omnidroid v.X2 according to the website. Plus, I did noticed Macroburst and Snug had different jawline. That would mean different people. Sorry about your theory.

My head cannon she was adopted. never thought about there hereditary super powers. but she sands out not having a more physical super power. but now that I think about it for a sec. it makes sense for Bob to worry about having a biological kid, hens why dash is rather young . Bob only recently became more committed as a father after raising Violet motivated him to have a biological kid and now 2 . But this is just a more wholesome versoin of your theroy i guess

If violet was adopted she would not have any powers her hair color probably came from a great grandparent or she probably dyed it.
It would only be possible to have powers if she was the daughter of superheroes, and yes, the hair must belong to someone related to the family.

The theory has the effect of inserting real life issues into an ultimately unrealistic world. However, I don’t care much for the proposed theory my self.

I can Debunk this right away with simple Genetics. Incredible may have Blonde hair, but Elastagirl has Brown. We don't know what her parents look like. One might be blonde or brown and the other could have black hair causing Elastagirl to get her brown hair with the Black as the recessive trait. We don't know what Incredible's parents look like either so one of his parents would have had to have had black hair too (This is a very basic rundown mind you) so for Violet to get black hair, she'd have to het 2 recessive traits from her parents
Black hair is dominate over red, blonde, and brown. It’s that simple! While Dash and Jack-Jack are Helen and Bob’s biological children. Dash takes after Bob, and Jack-Jack takes after Helen

My Grandfather's both had black and my Grandmothers respectively had red (Mother's Mother) and black (Father's Mother). If Black Is Dominant Over Brown Red and Blonde how come my mother and my uncle got Brown and Blonde hair instead of their father's Black? My Dad Got his parent's Black hair but his sister got brown. Plus my sister and I got Dirty Blonde with a brown haired mother and a Black haired father. If Black hair is supposed to dominate Brown and blonde, How come my sister and I don't have Black hair like our father?
Because the grandparents with black hair also carried the recessive trait.
Both of my parents have dark hair and my sisters and i have lighter hair.
If you have both the dominant and recessive genes, the dominant will be the trait you show.
The recessive only show if the person only has recessive traits.
That being said, genetics are odd, and things can skip generations, as sometimes genes get “switched off” in a way.
Everyone on both sides of my family have blue or green eyes, and i have brown.

@@labaccident2010 Which is why It IS Possible for Violet to be Robert and Hellen's Bio Daughter and still have Black hair. The Gene could have skipped Hellen and Robert's Generations as we do not know what their parents looked like
@@ericahyland1624 That’s only if both parents or grandparents carry the recessive gene for red and blonde. Brown and black are more common over red and blonde as these are recessive traits. Also hair color does change as a tween, and if you have dirty blonde hair can turn brown. Also also dirty blonde can be considered light brown
