Poor Vic and his left hand! He used to absolutely crush it with this song, and now not so much. He’s really trying and has a lot of heart to play through the issues. I met him a few years back, and was one of the nicest and most real people you’ll ever meet.
It's one thing to do a cover of a song, and something else to do the cover with a member of the original band playing with you. Talk about crazy pressure! It's so fun to see Victor hanging out with Corey and the Wong Notes and having a blast making music together! I have a friend who attended the tour a couple nights after this video, and he verifies that it was one of the best concerts he's ever attended! Thanks for posting the video!
It was fantastic for sure. If you haven't seen it, look up the video of Cory reacting to Vic playing Amazing Grace. How important that moment/Vic is to Cory and his career is pretty cool, especially now that he's getting to tour with him.
@@RyneMurray23 And I had seen Steely Dan as well a few years back in Memphis. That was so great and even outside in the amphitheater the acoustics were excellent. But Cory was more fun.
Cory did an IG live practicing that part specifically and Vic ended up joining. Fun to hear him talk about what their (Flecktones') process was for that part... or should I say, lack of process. Lol!

Saw them in St. Paul. Can honestly say it was one of my favorite concerts ever. I was in the rail directly in front of Petar!

Saw Cory for the first time in Seattle last November. Both shows were great, but there as a different energy at the Tab. Awesome show!
