You also enjoy making videos of Brno, too. Very fun and vibrant city. Too bad tourists miss out on this city and only focus on Prague. I always enjoy visiting this beautiful Moravian capital. Keep up the good work!
Yeah Brno is friendlier than Prague imho. Cheaper, neat and nice. Has an interesting history of course (Jews, Christian, Germans, Czech living side by side for more than 800 yrs)
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
I was a university student in Brno in the late 1970s. It was some of the happiest days of my life. It looks a lot smarter now. And with fewer communist slogans on the roofs!! But I remember Stopkova. We sometimes ate there on special occasions but the menu was much simpler. Also in Besední Dům which was quite basic in those days and they sold cheap smažený sýr and michaná vejce. It's very upmarket nowadays. And expensive.
@@wandergrand next time try any of normal coffees:) ll get super sweet cakes, like v facebook.com/kavarnacukrirodinky/ www.podobrazy.cz or facebook.com/CafeTungsram/ everything on a way from main station to main square:)
@@wandergrand It's not about taste or quality, it's about starbucks is very overpriced, it cost like 2 times or 3 times more than normal coffee in restaurant or caffé and I don't want to support this. 4 eur for coffee is robbery, I still don't understand how can starbucks survive here but I noticed that almost all foreigners and tourists are going there so they probably live only from foreigners.
I tell you how: If you stand next to the astronomical clock and face north, there is a church tower with actual clock like 200 metres away :)) At least that's how we do it :))

And yes, Brno is sometimes funny but mostly beautiful ... :)
I really miss Brno, have stayed there back in 2018 and I can say it is amazing. Thanks for this vid, all the flashbacks came into mind 🥰

If that is an Astronomical Clock, then how do you tell the time?

You stand next to it and say ,,Nestůj tady jak kokot a řekni mi kolik je hodin'' , usually works. Or as the person above said, that works as well.
