Hate to tell you but when I attended college 11 years ago they were talking about transplanting a pigs pancreas to a human. 🤷♀️
I'm a kidney recipient and have completed 3 years and counting, it's a blessing to get a new life but sometimes I see my friends still on dylasis and I just pray all this experiment come true so that they get a second chance to life some of the patients waiting for transplant are under 15 years they haven't seen the best of life yet,,, i just pray for all of you on dylasis and reading my comments to get a new life soon.

I have a few question.
1. Do you know how the procedure was done. Were you briefed. Did the Surgeon cut out your old kidney and just sew on the donated organ.
2. How long did it take before urine was produced.
3. Were there any pain.
4. Did the surgeon tell you how they reconnect the blood, nervous, ureter systems.
5. How long did it take for your body stem cell to repopulate the scaffold matrix of the donated kidney.

I heard that pig kidney transplant has a problem - it cleans the blood not like for a human, but for a pig, with different chemical result. I wish to hear more details from specialists.

O negative blood less chance of rejection.
Invitro fertilization with the pig.
Or even use clone and modification of the DNA.
Take the organ soon after the birth of the pig, when it has still got faetus blood.

How is the kidney "held in place" in the body? Isn't there connective tissues?
Is the human Stem cells able to repopulate the cells in the "Modified Pig kidney cell matrix" and how long would that take.
It seems difficult but as long as the media reports it, we have to pay attention.

He was discharged from the hospital and was able to live his normal life
he was braindead. After the 3 days he probably had his original kidneys attached and put back under his familys care@@maivamain1805

Usually we transplant one kidney from the donor but why in this animation they have taken away two pork kidneys and transplanted in recipients body? It's weired. If we do so the donor i. e the pig will die.
Exactly my opinion too...this is ridiculous removing both kidneys from donor pig and killing it for our own sake ?!
Also removing both kidneys of recipient kidneys and inserting in the same place?I don't think so this is the case for human donor to human recipient...
Today my brother went through kidney transplantation who got the kidney from my Father(living donor)... Here in recipient body doctors had placed the donor kidney near to bladder but they didn't removed the kidneys which are dead (not working)... Since there was no trouble or issue with dead kidneys to stay back in the same position... That's y they didn't removed those 2 kidneys... Either they placed donor kidney near by to bladder... This is the case where there is no risk to donor nor recipient...

It’s work 100% as pig heart transplant surgery successful but.., the idea is rejected by some people who will lose their money as long as human parts expansive and they benefit much while selling it and another strong reason the idea reject but who refuse to make mankind believe that pigs were once human, but the Creator took them a step back and turned them into pigs.
