That's how it was in olden times. People buried their own on the property. Surprised you haven't found more . Such sorrow in this find, and still amazing. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing explore and story of it all. My ex-girlfriend,lived in the family home and her grandmothers grave was just outside the kitchen, could see it from the window of the kitchen. I gather that if you get the proper permits, etc. that its possible to be buried on your property. A bit morbid and comforting at the same time I guess. Im looking forward to the second part of this sad but interesting story. Cheers for the States, be safe 👊👍
What an unbelievable Location, and find, Colin. Although tinged with sadness. Can't believe the Power's still on. A true Time Capsule. Keep up the great work.
Do you know that you are one of the nicest people on you tube. I really respect you as a human being ❤❤ You have so much decency inside of you . Your a true gentleman 🙂 Love the channel
It’s incredible that the power is still on after all these years, even the TV is still on ! A potential fire hazard, I would think. What a fascinating explore of this time capsule.
what an amazing story. Hopefully you'll find the other house and explore that for us too. Such a cute place but with the water leakage and power on, surprised it hasn't burned down.
This video was very emotional and amazing at the same time. So nostalgic with all the items just frozen in time, I can imagine the lady sat in the armchair listening to the radio, this was an Amazing find and as always you are very respectful of properties and the possessions Inside them x
Wow, very cool and seriously creepy. The hair on the back of my neck stood up just watching! Cannot imagine what it felt like actually being there. A true mystery as to why things were left as is. Great tour, thank you for sharing it with us. 🇨🇦♥️
How bizarre that the lights are left on in certain rooms! Maybe to make it look at night that the house is occupied? Even though it clearly looks abandoned. And who is paying the bills? Maybe the gentleman died intestate, and until the legal matters are resolved, both properties are just left sitting empty and unable to be sold.....Amazing explore, as always, and really looking forward to seeing the follow-up video ❤👍

It was really great of the subscribing neighbor to tell you about this place. it just shows how much people appreciate your entgrity and respect you show in the videos you do.
"Double dooring" is done to reduce sound transmission to a room. It's most effective if the door edges are sealed or at least dampened with weather stripping or velvet. The other door was probably wired shut due to unreliable latching.

If that place had a modern consumer unit it would have tripped. It’s obviously on old rewireable fuses which take a lot of current to burn through. Having spent last year clearing my dad’s home there must be thousands of places like this in the UK. Dad was horder and kept everything because he was a war baby. I had to recycle 10 lawn mowers , 5 rotavators etc.. and taxidermy . Miss him so much but it does explain why you guys have an endless world to explore. I am already planning my demise so I don’t have to leave so much “stuff” to clear up. Thanks for being so respectful. You get a gold medal for it.. All the best

Brilliant explore and so nice to hear from the neighbours that the rumours were true and that we may have a part 2 to look forward too, wonder how long the house will stay this way and hope it’s not trashed any time soon.
Amazing Colin, brilliant explore, really reminds me of the mansion next to the church that you did ages ago, I won't name as it's getting trashed, but amazing. Can't wait to see the husband's house if you find it. Cheers
How curious with a double door to the bedroom. I wonder if they were trying to keep something out. It is a nice old house pity it is left to fall down. Funny that the power was still on. Thanks for the tour.
Hi Colin & Ben. Hope your doing good. That was one awesome video. I can't believe the power is still on, how mad is that? That's one very cool video. Stay safe and take care.
These videos just go to show we exist in a fraction of time, rich, poor, popular, famous, life is so short and we live such a short life on this earth.
That house feels like a tomb. It reminds me of nightmares I've had about my dad's mother who died in her house all alone. Her body was half rotted when she was found.
You are so kind and respectful ❤️ But you missed the insane corker, when you found the car wing mirror on the hall shelf, you didn't notice the bane of late 1990s life... The AO-hell CD-Rom on the shelf for dial up Internet 14:36 🤣🤣 On a different note you can be buried in your garden in the UK but there's a LOT of regulations and there is also conditions about reselling the property later on. My parents looked at this at one time... ☹️ I wanted to put flowers on her grave 😣 I reckon the wire on the door was for a faulty latch. Pence to fix that way. I loved the low attic roof computer room, the windows were small and sweet. You should have tried the computers, they'd probably work!! Beautiful video and I can’t believe all the power was still on. Its likely been overlooked, if that place was last lived in around 2000 we couldn't chose our electricity supplier then, you had to have who supplied your area, no Scottish Power supply in Yorkshire or Northern Electric in Devon. Now it's all weird. In the switch overs the house would be overlooked then disappear off the databases. What a wonderful treasure of a find ❤️❤️❤️
Wow. Interesting. That lovely old tea set on the bottom shelf of the cupboard was definitely Meissen, could tell by the markings. God knows how old it was but its an antique and worth a few quid. Was getting ready for you to run off again if a door slammed. Lol. Enjoy or your videos. Keep it up.
Those 2 clocks you saw at 11:00 both run on batteries, the fact that they both still working means someone put them there in the last couple of years or someone changed the batteries, as these need new batteries every couple of years. The fact there were lights on upstairs and bulbs left on 24 hours a day will only run for about 50 days for old style incandescents before blowing, means someone has been in there quite recently. Maybe the old man visited there to maintain things until he died himself, not sure, but too many giveaways that it had not been completely abandoned and unvisited for 23 years.

Incandescent bulbs tend to fail on switching on. Once they are on they are usually OK.
There is one bulb in the world that lasted years and years in a fire mens house look it up at youtube think was the longest bulb ever
