He probably did. That was kind of the whole point of Bloodhound Gang: not caring about sounding good but just having fun. But seriously it's because of the shitty soundsystem. Open air festivals can make any band sound bad.

Ouch. I love the recordings. Well executed. Clever is a term when I think of Bloodhound.

it sounds to me like they were struggling with their monitors at this fest, they never ever fell out of key like this to the point where each of them were continuously losing tempo. under normal circumstances this drummer (willie) was a great drummer, his cymbal work is insane and he played spanky’s parts as if he wrote them. check out any footage from 1999/2000 that isn’t at an outdoor festival

David Ziol I've seen both bands three times and he's right. They're just not good bands live, the experience of it all is amazing and an all around good time, but when it comes down to tone and playing in the pocket, they're just not all there. Blink-182 has gotten way better live lately though, I'll give em that.
