Not even the slightest, good sir. It is something to strike within ourselves to say "well, I lived my life, and that's all any one can ask a man to do"
Thank you for doing these videos sir. Watching these were extremely nostalgic for me. I remember my 2008 days playing this game on my Nintendo Wii. It was amazing - ahh the good ol' days!
[Meanwhile in Normandy, months after D-Day... Joe has a long beard, a thinner stomach, and a better ability to swim faster while floating on his crashed plane.] Joe: Captain? Tom? Frank? You guys? Hello? Okay... [Then a fisher boat came to rescue Joe.]
I was in the 8th grade when I got this game! At the time, it was a tough time I was going through, but playing and enjoying this game helped me keep going. When I finally finished 8th grade and passed my finals, the end credits theme played in my head. It’s been a long time, but I have fond memories of this game.
That intro movie... I don't think I have ever not gotten chills from that... The perfect symphony between the horrors of war, his words, and the music... Perfection
@@CaptainDoge1 i doubt it they'll ever remake the game for current generation consoles. because don't forget blazing angels Soww2 and blazing angels 2 smoww2 are both 13 and 14 years old this year..
I'm not really sure what elevates this game past most Ace Combat games. While the camera lock on gives some dynamism to the "cinematography" the missions design is overly reliant on waves of enemies that requires you to kill each and every one in slow fashion. The dogfighting can be tedious when there are more than a dozen or so enemies. It also has pretty awful production values. AC really elevates missions with the in-mission chatter that captures both the frantic nature of war, and fleshes out different perspectives on the story and world. Which, to be frank this game has no story and no character. It's all the first cliches you can reach for from the shelf of cliches. I think Blazing Angels is fine. The flying is functional and that's obviously pretty integral, but I think there is good reason why a studio like Project Aces remain while pretty much every other studio that has a history of making flight combat games is either dead or folded into doing other work.
My dad is anti game. But one day I walked passed my room and he was trying his hardest to play it. Last time he ever tried playing a game. And that was whenever this game came out
God, I loved Blazing Angels! I even got the seemingly unwinnable Berlin Medal on the *ARCADE CABINET* machine! And, unless there's a Barenstein/Barenstain Bears effect going on, I swear the dialogue was different in my XBox 360 version, specifically the player pilot never talked.
Also, hearing the Germans dissing the pilots with *Deutsch* just stings harder than the same being done in English. Not sure how or why it works like that.
Germans are like Rarity actually she is Libra because shes fashionist and Celestia founding Leader of EU and also lik Twilight Sparkle bookmart and also Juniper Montage too another charachter in Libra.
Its actually in this version Ragga Muffin Germany because was marking Taurus but after was marking Libra so its like a gender swap here since Rarity is female and Ragga male.
This game will always have a special place in my heart.
Andrew Cruz Same bro
same here i was playing it earlier today
Amen to that! Same with its sequel!
Same it was a good game at the time
Ah yes, I remember this mission quite well. So....many....restarts xD
Joshua Mann
Still not as bad as Top Secret
Exactly my thought with Top Secret
@@Teru91333319 Top Secret is the worst
Paris mission is the most difficult🤣
@@siemon7613agreed!
It's funny with PS3 games, I thought they looked amazing back in the day :P
Javakris
I think some of them still do. The environment texture may not hold up, but the planes themselves look amazing.
To be honest, I think this game looks great for 2006!
To be fair this game was from 2006 which is like the very beginning of the PS3 haha
Is it weird that I still remember every single line of dialogue?
Not even the slightest, good sir.
It is something to strike within ourselves to say "well, I lived my life, and that's all any one can ask a man to do"
Nope! So do I my man!

French Fisherman: Huh, American?
German pilot on his bf 109 wait what
Man I tell you what hearing those jet engines scream by me when playing this mission was just about the coolest thing.

starbattle008 Yeah I know I was kidding
gotta give you credit getting through this on the Wii, without Joe it can be quite impossible
I've done it, but at that age I hadn't known the definition of cancer
Had a blast though, very good memories
I did it, it sure wasn't easy... But what is thrill and emersion without a little challenge eh...
Nostalgia trip eh, your welcomr
it doesn't matter how many sequels Ace combat gets, it will never surprass this hell of a game and skycrawlers:innocent skies

those elites at the end damn
the beginning part of this mission kinda reminds me of the canyon run in TGM
Okay fellas you’re stuck repeating one of two hellish missions, this or Rabaul Raid?
I replayed Rabaul all the time. Had and absolute blast landing on the runway mid mission and just chillin for a bit lol
This mission will always stick with me.
I rememberd how I got CD Blazing angles for birthday before 4 years. Its amazing game
8:37
2:25 Avril Lavigne’s song mobile goes well with the whole luftwaffe chasing after the player
using an upgraded meteor in this missin was eay yet hard

Final boss: Dunkirk's Angels vs Berlin's Devils! Who will win?
What I wonder how would people work for the Berlin devils also how did they get back from London
The biggest PR stunt for the USAAF and the 8th AF. If only it happened…..😅
I love the music
Trixie vs Luna Luftwaffe founding date was marking Pisces like Whermacht
6:55 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!
I NEED A MEDIC BAG
Luftwaffe Twilight Sparkle on a friday
Or Sonata Shy at that time
i could never beat this god damn lvl
Gilda vs Sonata Shy
Some of the music on this game is in the movie Midway.
Really? Mind me asking where?
Legitimately asking.
But if for Gemini is simply Sonata Dusk i think for USAAF founded on 20th june
Well just this part
I was right though careless are libras actually while carefree are gemininis
I'ma check it on Amazon lol
well done
I'm on holding guadlence.
I wonder if an expansion into the Korean War would have worked.

German pilots kinda sound like Rara
I forgot how good this game was, bit of a b--c- to play with the wii-mote though.
There was an episode when the countries where females actually or was just in Estonia imagination or dream actually
2:57 from who? your wife or your Ex-girlfriend uh ohhhh

like
It happened on lets say Yugoslavia actually genderswap and Egypt actually in Hetalia
Bro seriously you need learn to use the defense formation lol
how did you beat that level
I HATED this mission so badly
Wasn’t as bad as the “top secret” mission
I hate missions where it's tight I have shaky hands
A little bit of bullshit here, 8th air force would NEVER have flown over Berlin at 5,000 feet and the Mustangs only had so much ammo. But, whatever.
