Even though Blazing Angels 1 was more "historically accurate", I much preferred Blazing Angels 2, had way more fun with this than the first one, and honestly it was so fun that I literally don't care that it's grossly inaccurate! Blazing Angels 2, along with Age of Empires, Rayman and IL-2 were my favourite games growing up!
@@badbaloney4547 well the tech was real or at least drawn up. Sure some physics isn’t well explained and all but it’s an arcade style game at the end of the day. On top of that it had a good variety of planes, memorable missions, awesome battles and an actual good story
We also got: - Armored Zeppelins that launch fighters (Arsenal Bird) * FYI, Von Kluge's Project C carrier was actually thought of during WWII, but it never left the drawing board. - Dora Gun (Stonehenge) - Carrier Sub (Alicorn) - V2 Launch Sites (IRBM Silos)
the 2 games are still classics in my opinion nearly 13 years later. i had the first game for nearly a year by 2007 when the first game had came out and didn't install it until nearly 2008 XD
I never played the game since I didn’t have the right console, but played the first on Wii and loved it. This had a really good story line, and it actually wasn’t horribly farfetched on a lot of things. I looked up the carrier subs, and those were actually real. Such a good story too.
This game has a place in my heart since I first played it as a reward after a hard 8th grade year. Makes me wonder about 2 things: 1. Did Robinson and Marguerite Marty and raise kids to become pilots/agents like themselves in other wars? 2. Are there any more secret missions of WWII we don’t know about, maybe even a secret fighter squadron that flew them?

Ubisoft canceled the "Blazing Angels: Cold War" it was called something similar to that. Script said you were to be flying as the child of Robinson at like 15 or something. Even more secret weapons, and actual fantasy planes.
wow there is so much stuff taken in inspiraion from secret weapons over normandy in this game hopefully we will see a more up to date version of a game similar to these
the last boss you fight is a mirror of the first. he's invincible when his fighters are deployed but vulnerable when launching new ones. only thing different is the Tesla weapons and the missiles
I struggled a lot on this mission when I played this game the first time. And when I finally did beat this mission, I shot down Von Kluge the exact same time I got shot down, and it still counted. Although I didn't get to hear the ending mission dialogue.

to answer 2. You do know these missions are fiction right? For example the planes used in many are way out of time frame.

I actually prefee using the propeller planes onthis cos when your in the tunnels its slower so you can do so much damage
