The woman she defrauded for a years' salary, the people fired from their jobs because this girl defrauded their businesses. She doesn't deserve a movie deal. She deserves to grow old, a nobody, and die in obscurity as a punishment for the harm she did to so many people. Not be glorified by Netflix and the NPCs who watch this type of movie they produce about worthless people, glorifying them just because they happen to be female. There are MANY MANY women who did great things that have been all but forgotten that Netflix can make movies about, to inspire great things in young women. World of the ultra-rich. Liars such as hers, with the skills to pull it off, is almost non-existent. Higher class services prioritize comfort. Supposedly, private yachts have an insane amount of engineering to make sure staff almost never comes into contact with the owner. All their needs taken care off, behind their back. So, potentially making a VIP angry on their vacation vs exceptionally low risk of an elaborated scammer.

World of the ultra-rich. Liars such as hers, with the skills to pull it off, is almost non-existent. Higher class services prioritize comfort. Maybe if she managed to get a bank or investor to give her a couple million upfront, but they were smart enough not to trust her... unlike the various hotels, restaurants and "friends" who were willing to spot her a few thousand here and there, but obviously not enough to buy a property in NYC.
FiendGuy she got greeady
@@TheMistyBlueLounge She had money from loans, which she could have brought property with, then use her social skills to generate business and more money.
wow.. that girl lived full of her life without spending a single penny by her own
Now she is paying the consequences
for how long? A year? Seems like a very short lived run that ended up catastrophicaly bad for her. She has a huge debt, no reputation to get a job, no bank or investment firm will even touch her, and has to spend 5 years in prison. She is the definition of stupid
Move back to Germany lol
and she will live another 10+ years for free in a US prison.
The fact that she was even offered only a single year in prison is ridiculous! Beyond privileged!
just be born a female bro
and white
The idea is that they (the prosecuting party) can avoid the trial taking far longer than it should (since Anna is apparently a very persuasive person) in exchange for letting her off easier. The lengths to which they go to get that plea deal definitely don't seem right, though.
What I'm most confused about is why Anna seemed to gain a conscience and not accept the plea deal...or, maybe she was just continuing to talk out her ass and essentially lost the opportunity.
@@zainal-ziyara260 *female* fixed it for you
Im pretty sure her penalty for her crime is 4-12 years....
I can't even check into a hostel without making full payments beforehand. How did this happen? How are people so "smart" and yet gullible at the same time? Maybe they needed this lady to come along and open their eyes.
It's just custom with wealthy customers. If you assume they're good for it, it's much more profitable to be overly nice to them than to be pushy. That way they'll tell all their rich friends about your establishment.
The way she was represented as a cartoon had me dead
Don't see what so impressive about that. The entire Kardashian clan convinced everyone they were celebrities for no reason, and they're still doing it!

U think ur funny eh?
The only one worth it in my view is Kyle. She built a makeup empire even though she had millions to begin with. She literally has more money then everyone in her family combined now lol.
@@TheLadyPlantagenet Its hilarious
the rich get richer. if they were even middle class who would even know them
Waiting on the exaggerated Hollywood wolf of wall street type film on her story...
If someone can get a hold of here, she can appeal the sentence. if the state offers you a certain amount of time and then gives you more time for exercising your right to trial she would win that appeal and only get the max of the first year
This girl is really intelligent, I think she'd make a live dictating conferences and on the jet set by selling books and movies about her story. She basically can become millionaire by being a fraud and that a really interesting phenomenon in today's society
i wonder tho, "if that venture was successful...." how would she have bought that house? Sure nice job firing those retards from the hotel, for being idiots, but who would have paid for it? Doubt they just sell you a house saying "oh sorry i left my credit card at home" "sure no problem, we write it on your name at once".. naaah, i doubt she would have ever made it that far. All this really is because idiots were working at where ever she was.
XenoEagle it said if she was successful, because she was trying to get that huge loan remember?
@@TheWormzerjr Nope, the state did not "give her more time for exercing her right", rather it gave her exactly the punishment that was appropriate. The DA's office did exactly the opposite of what you said, it offered her less time in prison in exchange for waiving her right to a trial, with the intent of speeding up the process and ensuring the efficiency of the criminal justice system. It's a totally legitimate instrument that is well established and has been used countless of times for (at least) more than a century.

she needs a film
@Kallus Garnet- I can get on board with that.....under the condition that she receives nothing in compensation because it will be used to pay her fines, paying Rachel back, and perhaps even to be used in creating a foundation to educate about scams like this and/or advocacy for victims.
The actor portraying her should be Seth Rogen or Willem Dafoe. (Google them in drag! 😂😂😂) No female actors or social icons should be cast. She need only be informed of these things once it’s too late.
Oh!!! And when she asks for her income from the film, flip the script on her and say the same thing she told the bank, “I have a loan coming for 22 million. I just need $100,000, and when that loan comes in, I’ll be able to pay you back right away.”
I was thinking more of Di Caprio in Gatsby. Well based on the intro of the video. It sounds like how people were guessing where Gatsby's money came from.
@@penguin902 Gatsby had actual income though, even if it was illegal.

She also got $320k for selling the rights on that Netflix movie adaptation, so if you account for all she has to pay in fines and restitution, she actually made $95k out of this

Idk, she doesn’t look very charismatic or rich to me. She looks more like a sad looking librarian or something. Can’t believe she got away with all that. Amazing.
Less about her physical appearance, and more about the words that left her mouth. She must have been a mad smooth talker because I know stunning women that couldn’t pull something like this off.
