Another great video! I noticed a very interesting mending technique where you sort of loop the line out something like a throwing a lasso. Looks very effective in mending without disturbing the flies. Would be great if you could talk about that in one of your next vids. Thanks!
Watched this video and your last one just a few minutes after you released them! Sure glad you're back, really missed the quality content. I was startin to Jones!😆 great stuff as usual. Thanks for giving us something to look forward to!👍✌️
Another fantastic video Alex!!! It was good hearing your opinion on the SA Trout Express line and seeing you using it. I have been looking at getting this line for swinging streamers!! Thanks mate
Alex, could you do some instructional videos on how to throw those heavy nymph rigs that us overseas anglers struggle with? You make it so easy looking mate!
Awe that first fish was a beast. So glad you're back posting your adventures again. Got a question. What glasses do you use and are yellow lenses the best color to use?
Hi Alex, absolutely love your channel mate! Just wondering how you get away with 2 rigs i.e. 2 rods set up in the latest video? Me and my mate were visiting from Scotland about 7 years ago fishing a west coast South Island stream and we had 1 rod each set up with an extra one to give us options. A F&G warden spotted us and gave us grief, he informed us in NZ the license states only 1 rod per fisher. He explained he was within his rights to confiscate one of our rigs, which in my case was an Orvis Helios 2 and a Larson reel with a Rio fly line, 2K NZD! Thankfully, he gave us some slack! Is it because you were fishing in the back country and the F&G wardens are lazy buggers and would not fo that far to chain? :-) :-)
