100% agree with having a variety. I personally don't think color matters as much as the profile does, but if you feel that it does roll with what makes you confident. The weight with hooks on it are called Eddy Bombs (some people call them tuna bombs). They get bit and i highly recommend adding one to your arsenal
Thanks for the Great tips. I believe that you're only allowed to fish with 2 hooks when rock fishing. Unless it's different rules the further you go out.
Good stuff man! Thanks for the sitrep. Check out Jigpara for those Tungsten Jigs. I’m experimenting with them this season since the BFT is keyed in on sub 2inch anchovies. It’s about half the profile length vs an equivalent lead colt sniper style jig.
@@Obseadianfishing That’s good to know! I’ll check those hooks out! Might try one with a single and another with a treble. Tight lines and thanks for the updates!
I think you will like it when you give it a try, circle hooks are my favorite hook to use because of the high hook to landing ratio. I have had fish pull off of a J hook but I usually land 9/10 fish on a circle hook

Yeah man I think if you find a jig that you like and have confidence in, have a few colors but a range of sizes you are good to go🤙🏼
Ocean odyssey is my favorite boat. You will enjoy fishing with captain Scott

Will do man! The guy had his rigged with an Owner ST-66 Treble Hook, the tuna CHOKED it

I think the circle hook on the bottom of your jig is a very good idea. I`ve got stuck on the Botton using a J hook thanks for the info on that.

It’s on big time
The boats have been smoking the bluefins the last 4/5 days, I can’t wait to go! Haha
@@Obseadianfishing the high liner out of Seaforth is on fire. Reverse overnight!
@@greggutierrez6997 I figured the reverse overnight and 1.5 days would put some meat in the boat, they are there all night when the fish are biting
