All of my DIY carbon, aluminium or polycarbonate parts are cut with a jigsaw and drilled with a hand drill.
Most of my materials like Carbon Fibre, Aluminium, polycarbonate and hardware like screws, bolts and nuts are purchased from Ebay Australia but most of what I use is easily found just by Google searching the material or hardware you require.
Music made on the GroovePad phone app or the Suno AI website.
All editing done on my phone using the Kinemaster phone app.

Honestly not a bad little car! The shocks alone are impressive for that price point. Yeah they're plastic, but oil filled and they have the length for travel. Your editing skills are improving as well.. keep up the great work!
Yes I am very impressed with the whole car really, perfect as it is for my track and yep so good they went with oil shocks, the car is light weight so hopefully they will hold up being all plastic🤞 because they do feel great!
And thank you very much man, advanced editing is a challenge on the phone, well for me it is anyway, but the only way to get better is to work harder so it's nice to know I am actually improving😁

It is a very cool looking and well put together car, have to find some other San Yao models to check out maybe👌
The steering was drifting off centre quite a bit at the end, not sure if it's the servo or assembly yet so a bit of testing to figure it out but yes I think a 100kph challenge would be fun.

Great looking little car, looks like it drives really well around your backyard track. If you needed to you could possibly put in some custom adjustable tie rod bars to get that tow back in on the steering.

I saw a video that fixes the issue. Seems like the rally car was put with the steering links and the tie rods swapped from the factory. He swapped them back and it fixed it. Hope this helps!

I've seen that typo a few times, where it says it's a "crawler" on the box when it ain't.

Yeah brushless will be fun but I don't have much hope for the driveshafts though😆
Hopefully a better servo fixes the slop but I have a feeling it may be the assembly itself, find out soon I guess, and yep DumboRC all the way🤪

What size is the wheelbase? I wanna do a body swap

No info in the manual but it seems to be around 210mm long (wheelnut to wheel nut) and about 185mm wide.

Are there any other models out that share this chassis or just these two that you know of so far?
Also, will you be doing a video on the short course version as well? Do they make any upgrade parts t support going brushless yet?
I have only seen these 2 versions, not sure if there is any others.
I don't think these are new cars, I have not searched for upgrades but if they are available that would be good as I can't find any steel shafts that fit them yet.

Sooo ive decided to get this rally car 🤫 can it take a 3s lipo? I got some for it..
Don't run 3s stock as you will blow the esc and I wouldn't suggest running 3s brushless as the driveshafts can NOT handle 3s.
Still waiting on the apparent upgrades shafts to be released, someone said there would be upgrades at some point🤷

So how did you fix the toe out problem? They must all come like that cuz mine looks just like that when I got mine.
You can swap to longer front steering tie rods, that will reduce the toe out.
Not sure how long they need to be sorry.

New brushless motor cost 10x More than new brushed. I Will stick with brush motors. When you burn The old one just update with 540. The noise is Part of The fun. Its like constant turbo Whistle.
These brushless motors were around $15aud on ebay.
But yes it would be a good idea to stick to brushed so the shafts last a little longer👌

you think a 3100kv in this is to much? thoughts....
No I think around 3000kv is spot on, upto 3500kv as long as you stick to 2s, 3s would start breaking the plastic shafts and possibly damage diffs.
I'm still looking for upgrade shafts the correct size, if I find some I'll definitely do a video showing the upgrade👍
