IL attempt I did a couple months ago. Alstar beat it the next day. I'd like to do a full campaign run one day but my lack of knowledge of the game, and the lack of saves, makes it brutally unforgiving right now.

I do too. Routing is a nightmare when you don't know the game well enough and saves are completely unavailable. I want to at some point.
