What an interesting, sophisticated conversation about language, literature... listening to it, I got the feeling two like-minded souls could go on talking forever... and I would be keen to be listening to them - even as a non-native Englisch speaking person. Thank you very much for uploading!
I was listening to them back to back (for yet another time) and was actually trying to see if i can hear stephen getting older in them, i was on the 6th one and was thinking he sounded discernibly older, but looks like it was done in the same time as this interview, but i think he just changed the style somewhere seeing that he sounds still quite vibrant here (he was 48 years old). But i guess it's because i'm in my 20's and didn't discover stephen when i grew up, so i have either the image of him from 90s period or his current, older image in my mind influencing my impression of him.
Rowling: "Harry's not related in a biological sense to Voldemort"...says related and biological sense, in a way that they are still related somehow...far out...Rowling knowing full well in this interview, years ahead, how they are "related"....genius!
"Voldemort, in a biological sense, is not related to Harry at all." At the time of this interview (before the final book was published) she knows that one of Volermort's horcruxes is in Harry, but we don't.
I’ve listened to this conversations a few times now, I wish they would do a few hours more, they’re a great pair
Stephen Fry should absolutely play Dumbledore in the TV show. It's right there. C'mon.
I could listen to her for hours, and Fry too.
I wish this was longer!
