      Awesome video! If you’re looking to get a full tune and bow fitting done, would you make sure your draw weight and the arrows you’re going to shoot are set before getting that fitting done? Or visa versa?

    Dan,
    New archer, (thank you COVID). It's changed my life. I love what you do. I've learned so much! But my favorite episodes are your collaborations with MFJJ. You two rock together. Please! You two , do more! I will watch this six times more and check into my (almost) daily practice.
    Thank you,

    Wow JJ is the Michael Jordan of archery. His reasoning is so logical. And it amazes me he sees things so clearly and can articulate his strategy so much better than others in the industry. Just an A+ video. This will become a classic one ppl should watch over and over. torque is a huge problem for archers especially in the moment of truth.

    Thanks so much for this video. I just started shooting seriously last spring. I've developed a real problematic torqueing issue this off season. You guys just gave me some serious insight to what might be my problems. Thanks again and I've really enjoyed you bow tip videos over the past 6 months. Keep it up.

    Great video, thank you for making it. I am currently coaching my teenage daughter and this video is great to show her the proper form on someone besides myself. She can watch on her own after the fact for a quick refresher. Keep up the good work.

    Great video, I use the closed eye method to determine where my peep should go when I build the bow, I'm pretty sure that my draw length is a hair short because I don't come close to locking out and I'm brining the bow back into me to anchor. Gonna work on that, thanks for the great content.

    Video idea: a breakdown of form flaws for certain kinds of misses. Example: if you tend to miss low it’s because your front shoulder is collapsing.As a right handed shooter I sometimes hang my arrows to the right all day, Why? Thank Dan love the content

    Comment and question: you show the bow grip placement at or on the the lifeline of the bow hand. Should, the bow grip only make contact with the thumb side of the life line? Good video, but still wondering about the grip placement as shown causing grip induced torque...

    • @2ndAveScents
      @2ndAveScents 3 роки тому

      Look at your thumb pad and lifeline, the grip should sit on the crease of your thumb pad at the top and touch the bottom of the life line at the bottom, basically sitting on top of the line that the crease of your thumb pad makes.

    I have a question I have never heard anyone talk about on the grip/riser connection. I use a grip hand position like shown but the question is, does your riser go off to the side of the two wrist bones connecting to the hand or on them? I have played with different positions where it sits directly on the meat of the thumb all the way to where the riser sits in between those wrist bones. I have large meaty hands and was curious. Thanks for all the info downloads for us archers looking to be better.

    My niece shoots JOAD and her grip is her biggest problem. She consistently hits left due to her gripping her bow too tight.

    Any suggestions on fixing torque when shooting with a quiver? I shoot great with a bare bow, but when shooting with my quiver on all my arrows group to the left (right handed shooter).

    My arm shakes a lil after shooting a couple of times and my scope housing starts to move/shake. So I’m probably not locking in my arm enough and relaxing it

    Not every archer has a big nose like Adrian Brody…I shoot best with my string on the side of my face not touching at all. That’s what works best for me.
